The Key Account Executive / Assistant Manager isresponsible for managing and growing key modern trade and e-commerce accountsfor FMCG paper products. This role covers major retailers and online platformssuch as DFI Retail (Giant, Cold Storage), RedMart, Shopee, and Amazon. Theincumbent will drive sales growth, distribution expansion, promotionaleffectiveness, and operational excellence while building strong customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Relationship Management

• Manage relationship and account performance of key customers including DFI Retail (Giant, Cold Storage), RedMart, Shopee, Amazon, and other assigned accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for buyers and category managers on all commercial and day-to-day operational matters.
• Build strong working relationships to support long-term partnerships and sustainable business growth.

Sales Growth & Business Development

• Develop a deep understanding of each account’s category, shopper behaviour, and business dynamics to identify opportunity gaps.
• Drive growth in sales value, volume, and distribution for paper product ranges.
• Execute joint business plans and account strategies to achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for new product listings, range optimisation, and improved shelf or online visibility.

Trade Marketing & Commercial Execution

• Negotiate pricing, promotions, trade terms, and in-store / online activities in line with company guidelines.
• Plan and execute promotional activities including price-offs, multi-buys, displays, and online campaigns.
• Monitor, manage, and track trade A&P (Advertising & Promotion) funds to maximise return on investment and efficient spend.
• Coordinate closely with marketing and trade marketing teams on product launches and campaigns.

Operations & Forecasting

• Handle day-to-day customer operational matters including order processing, promotion execution, issue resolution, and coordination with internal teams.
• Prepare and manage monthly inventory demand forecasts in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams.
• Ensure optimal stock availability to support promotions and avoid out-of-stock situations, especially for high-volume paper products.

Performance, Market & Competitor Analysis

• Track sell-in, sell-out, inventory levels, and promotional effectiveness across accounts.
• Monitor competitors’ pricing, promotions, assortments, and market activities within the paper category.
• Keep abreast of industry and retail trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.

• Analyse market and competitor trends to refine account strategies.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure order fulfilment, inventory availability, and seamless execution of promotions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Around 2–4 years’ experience in key account management, retail, or sales (especially in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce) is ideal.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Self-motivat independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant in the Metabolic Phenotyping Core (MetCPU) at the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. MetCPU provides human metabolic phenotyping services for subjects in clinical studies, who are typically recruited by the researchers themselves. These services include oral and intravenous glucose tolerance tests, the mixed-meal tolerance test, glucagon stimulation tests, euglycemic and hyperglycemic clamp studies, and indirect calorimetry. The Core also collaborates and provides research support service to other researchers in NUS and NUH.

Appointments will be made on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension which is subject to funding availability and performance.

Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator, team members and collaborators to ensure the successful completion of research projects and smooth operation of MetCPU. The RA’s principal role is to provide integrated research, clinical, coordination, and administrative support, including serving as study coordinator and liaison with other study teams and collaborators.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with the relevant personnel in university, hospital, and collaborating laboratories to streamline recruitment, biospecimen collection, biospecimen flow and processing, data collection, data management and will be accountable to the Principal Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

• Oversee the general management and day-to-day coordination of the multiple projects across study sites;

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support digital content assessment, platform curation, partner management, and project administration. The role involves reviewing content for alignment with objectives, engaging with partners, and supporting funding and project processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content & Script Assessment

• Ensure content aligns with organizational objectives and intended audience segments.
• Perform content compliance checks to ensure messaging, values, and guidelines are met.

2. Digital Platform Suitability & Curation

• Review content suitability across digital platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Support assessment of emerging digital formats and audience engagement trends.

3. Partner & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison with assigned partners, including vernacular and youth-focused partners.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships, ensuring smooth communication and timely deliverables.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to partners throughout the concept-to-production workflow.

4. Project Administration & Funding Support

• Track partner milestones, approvals, and deliverables to support timely funding disbursements.
• Maintain meticulous records of approvals, compliance checks, and production documentation.

5. Support for Appointment of New Media Partner for Singapore Media Festival

• Assist the New Media team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding a new media partner for the Singapore Media Festival, given that current partnerships end in 2025.

Requirements:

• Degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in content assessment, digital platform curation, or media production.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Knowledge of social media trends and emerging digital formats.
