• Register all incoming materials and items for the project

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate electrical design drawings, specifications, and submissions.
• Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load schedules, and technical documents.
• Liaise with Client, Consultant, and Authorities (Jacobs, PUB, SP, Group, BCA, etc.) for approvals and technical matters.
• Manage site electrical works including installation, testing, and commissioning of LV/MV systems, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and associated equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and safety standards.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and technical reports.
• Support project documentation including shop drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Assist in troubleshooting, system integration, and protection coordination where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably in water / wastewater / infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with LV/MV systems, switchgear, protection systems, and site commissioning.
• Knowledge of Singapore standards and authority submission procedures is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting various projects with a focus on utilities mapping and management. You’ll collaborate with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal colleagues, including site supervisors and the reporting team, to ensure that all utility-related activities meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Supervise Subcontractors: Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
2. Monitor Utilities and M&E Works: Ensure that utilities and mechanical & electrical works meet statutory requirements, construction procedures, and safe work practices.
3. Identify and Resolve Issues: Manage system failures and oversee preventative maintenance to keep operations smooth.
4. Engage with Utility Agencies: Collaborate with utility agencies to update construction site progress, address utility damages, or handle unknown services.
5. Coordinate with Construction Teams: Liaise between utility agencies and construction teams on excavation works, service diversions, and reinstatement tasks near underground utility services.

What We’re Looking For
