The STEM Programme & Makerspace Support Executive will provide operational, technical, and administrative support for the Junior Outstanding Leaders in Energy for Sustainability (JOULES) Programme and assist in fostering a strong maker culture within the school environment. Key Responsibilities

JOULES Programme Support

• Prepare, set up, and maintain STEM equipment and devices for lessons, including micro:bit devices, sensors, simple electric circuits, solar panels, m5GO kits, and related peripherals.
• Conduct regular equipment checks, troubleshooting, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of the JOULES Smart Centre.

• Support budgeting, resource allocation, and management of Makerspace equipment, software, and materials.
• Assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of Makerspace technologies such as:3D PrintersLaser CuttersVirtual Reality (VR) Systems
• Ensure equipment safety, maintenance, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with the school’s STEM Programme Committee to support curriculum delivery and STEM initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised Makerspace environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in STEM education support, laboratory operations, prototyping environments, Makerspaces, or related technical environments.
