Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as client’s engineer for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Automation Engineering Lead will act as a representative for the EPC contractor during design execution at EPC contractors’ office in Singapore.  

In your role as Automation Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the SCADA system, Telecom systems, Fire Alarm System and instrument/control portion of the mechanical systems adhere to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SAT and commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Visit the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the fabrication yard representatives, the engineering design office, client’s home office and other discipline representatives at the fabrication yard.
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Automation tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines.

Job Description

• Position Title: Pest Control Technician
• Working Location: Pandan Loop
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + OT + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective and professional integrated pest management services to customers.
• Carry out pest control treatments at clients’ premises in timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections at client sites to identify pest activity and potential risks.
• Complete and submit service reports accurately and after each visit.
• Respond to customers’ enquiries and provide advice on pest related matters.
• Take care of company vehicles, tools and equipment, ensuring they are well maintained and in proper working condition.
• Support trials of new products and solutions and share feedback on their performance.

• At least 1-year of related experience.
• NEA Pest Control Worker/ Technician License is an advantage.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
• Able to work well in a team with a positive attitude.

• Ensure timely month-end closing and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial packs with performance analysis and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation.
• Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations, including audit schedules.
• Support external and internal audits, as well as other statutory requirements.
• Assist with tax provision, deferred tax, and tax reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and handle XBRL submission.
• Partner with business divisions for budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Identify areas for improvement and streamline finance processes for better efficiency.
• Handle ad-hoc finance tasks or operational matters assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Holds a Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/FRS and their applications.
• Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous, positive attitude, and a strong team player.
• Able to work independently with good communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.

• Research and analyze the impact of new and updated accounting standards (SFRS(I)/IFRS) and advise on required implementation across entities.
• Partner with the supervisor to resolve accounting and operational queries from departments in a timely and effective manner.
• Support finance-related change initiatives.
• Prepare financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports for multiple entities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SFRS(I)/IFRS.
• Oversee financial data preparation, identify discrepancies, and resolve variances.
• Perform tax provision and deferred tax computation in compliance with accounting standards.
• Coach and upskill team members to strengthen capability and performance. · Develop and update standard templates to improve consistency, comparability, and efficiency across entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and advise management on necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely submission of documentation and explanations.
• Design and implement process improvements to standardize workflows, enhance automation, and strengthen financial processes.
• Review and analyze budget and forecast submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness.
• Provide variance analysis and highlight key risks, opportunities, and assumptions.
• Ensure consistency in financial assumptions, methodologies, and reporting across entities.
  
  Requirements:
  
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, or other equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, particularly in financial reporting and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage accounts for large and complex organisations (e.g., revenue of S$1 billion or more).
• Has strong analytical skills with the ability to dig deep into data and identify key issues or insights.
• Solid knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS and other relevant accounting standards. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Must have experience in offshore, marine, or energy industries, especially with long-term construction contract accounting, is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Power Query is an added advantage.
