Job Description

·        Take full responsibility for cost management and contract administration for main-contractor projects, including progress claims, payment certifications, variation orders(VO), and final account settlement.

·        Prepare, submit, and follow up on progress claims, variation orders submissions, and cost documentation with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

·        Maintain proper records and tracking of all variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondences to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

·        Carry out monthly valuation of work done, monitor project costs, control budgets, and forecast final project costs.

Job Requirements

Job Description
Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as client’s engineer for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Automation Engineering Lead will act as a representative for the EPC contractor during design execution at EPC contractors’ office in Singapore.  

In your role as Automation Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the SCADA system, Telecom systems, Fire Alarm System and instrument/control portion of the mechanical systems adhere to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SAT and commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Visit the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the fabrication yard representatives, the engineering design office, client’s home office and other discipline representatives at the fabrication yard.
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Automation tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines.
• Troubleshooting / solution finding during fabrication.

The primary focus areas of the department are the offshore wind and renewable energy solutions sectors. The department provides services for site activities, including Electrical &Automation follow-up engineering and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective and professional integrated pest management services to customers.
• Carry out pest control treatments at clients’ premises in timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections at client sites to identify pest activity and potential risks.
• Complete and submit service reports accurately and after each visit.
• Respond to customers’ enquiries and provide advice on pest related matters.
• Take care of company vehicles, tools and equipment, ensuring they are well maintained and in proper working condition.
• Support trials of new products and solutions and share feedback on their performance.

About the Role,
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee the construction and installation of water treatment systems. The successful candidate will manage on-site activities from project initiation to final handover while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities

·  Oversee the construction and installation of water treatment plants from start-up to final handover.
·  Provide technical guidance and support to customers during project execution.
·  Supervise the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of piping systems.
·  Ensure project activities follow the planned schedule and technical specifications.
·  Coordinate with project teams, Ovivo installation contractor and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
·  Site activities reporting to project team.
·  Execute tasks according to project plans using tools such as MS Project.

Required Qualifications & Skills

·  Degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering is required. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
·   Several years of professional experience in piping installation or construction supervision.
·   Practical experience with thermoplastic piping systems including PVC, PP, PE, and PVDF.
·    Experience with pure and ultrapure water installations is considered an advantage.
·    Dynamic and flexible personality with the ability to work under pressure.
·    High proficiency in the English language.
·    Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
·    Ability to read, understand, and execute project schedules using tools such as MS Project.
