Role Summary   

This role is an opportunity to work with a high‑agency startup team operating in the hard‑tech sector. You will play a critical role in scaling a software engineering team to build in‑house supply chain and manufacturing software, leveraging AI‑enabled tools to accelerate development and operational efficiency. 

This is a hybrid role. In the initial phase, you will be hands‑on—defining system architecture, building MVPs, and writing production code—while simultaneously building and growing a high‑performing team to deliver software for Amperesand’s organization.

Resorts World Sentosa is looking for a Senior Engineer (Controls Engineering) to join the team to support the reliability, safety, and performance of rides and show equipment at Universal Studios Singapore. It involves troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and engineering validation to ensure smooth park operations. Job Responsibilities

• Support the engineering validation, reliability centered maintenance analysis & configuration control of all amusement rides/show equipment

• Contribute to key troubleshooting efforts and reliability improvements of amusement ride and show equipment, through better diagnostics, approved/improved software revisions, technician training, and Preventive Maintenance strategy.

• Support major ride enhancement projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

• Perform research and implement solutions for Predictive Maintenance technology to improve operational reliability of rides.

• Support Engineering Change process and review of Service Bulletins.

• Understand amusement ride safety

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Computer Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with the PLC Systems, preferably Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, SLC 500 and Siemens S7

Required Skills

• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives will be advantageous.

• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle process/standard electrical schematic diagrams/Change Control process.

• Logical approach to troubleshooting and the ability to perform complex system tests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Projects to supply generator set for different industries

• Prepare and check drawings and generate related documents according to customer specifications for approval

• Liaise and coordinate with customer & vendor for mechanical / electrical drawings

• Monitor individual project costings as per sales budget and meet profit margins

• Maintain a proper record of all communications related to the project

• Provide technical support & assist Sales team as and when required

• Maintain proper project folders and keep all documents in individual projects for auditing purpose

• Fulfil any other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the team

• Adhere to all in-house and on-site safety regulations

Job Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3 years in project-handling-related experience in Engine/Genset industries

• Mechanical/Electrical experience in Power Systems & Control Panels.

• Experience in interpreting Electrical Schematic diagrams for Genset Control Systems.

• Experience in interpreting mechanical drawings such as General Arrangement drawings & Site Architect layout drawings
