A)  Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including preparation of full sets of accounts, monthly reports, annual budgets, and tax filings. The role also involves liaising with auditors, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, supervising the finance team, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

i)     Oversee and review the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payments &receipts, and general ledger activities;

ii)    Prepare, review, and deliver complete sets of financial statements in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder reporting needs.;

vi)    Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and reporting standards;

viii)  Supervise the finance team, providing guidance and coaching;

ix)   Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance department;

x)     Ad-hoc projects and other job duties which may be assigned from time to time.

B)  Job Requirement

i)     Diploma in Accountancy or higher;

ii)    Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role and preferably with supervisory experience;

iii)   Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on financial analysis, reporting;

iv)   Sound knowledge of internal controls, of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax and GST rules;

About the Role

Aureus Group is looking for Centre Directors who can lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Executives in the direction of working towards the company goals. They need to be equipped with strong organization and sales skills, with extensive product knowledge and able to provide excellent customer service in order to ensure that he/she can promote the company and our programmes effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assigned number of outgoing sales calls daily
• Achieve assigned monthly lead generation, sales/ enrolments and lead-conversion targets, in addition to any other targets that may be set by the management in relation to centre growth
• Cultivate team members through effective on-the-ground mentoring and ensure they achieve their individual management-assigned targets
• Answer all incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct sales activities and events to support the team with lead generation and conversions
• Retain existing customers through effective problem solving and ensure that all team members uphold the highest quality of service standards at all times
• Ensure desirable centre growth by providing excellent customer service and mitigate student turnover

Hiring Criteria:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in the customer service field, with at least 1 year in a manager-level position
• Must be available to work retail hours and on both weekends
• Strong sense of adaptability and leadership
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English (Being bilingual/trilingual would be an advantage)
• Goal-driven individuals with the ability to focus and prioritise tasks that drive the growth of the centre
