Job Summary

Reporting to the Site Manager, Construction Manager, Coordination Manager, Project Manager, or Project Director, the Site Engineer will lead and supervise semiconductor tool hook-up installation activities. The role is responsible for ensuring project delivery within schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements through effective coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Software Engineer (PLC Programming)

• Working days: Monday - Friday 830am to 530pm
• Location : Ang Mo Kio Techplace
• Salary: $4,000 - $6,000

Job Responsibilities

• Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop high-quality, maintainable software meeting user requirements
• Draft functional and detailed design specifications
• Interpret client requirements, identify design parameters, and ensure solutions are delivered accurately within budget and timeline
• Participate in control system requirement analysis
• Design and update electrical schematics drawings
• Source and select electrical components, prepare and issue BOM
• Perform PLC & HMI programming, system implementation, testing, and debugging
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet project requirements and schedules
• Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Analyze existing software and propose improvements
• Ensure timely resolution of software and electrical issues
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support at customer sites

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation / semiconductor industry
• Strong PLC & HMI programming skills (preferably Omron, Mitsubishi, Proface)
• Programming skills in Motion Control, Analog, PIDs, Process Control.Motion Control, Analog, PID, Process Control (added advantage to have)
• Knowledge of high-end fieldbus communication (eg. Modbus, EtherCAT, EIP) is an advantage
