• Familiarity with surface preparation tools and painting equipment

* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent or

accreditation recognized by PEB Singapore;

* Registered as Resident Engineer with BCA/IES/ACES; and

* 3 to 10 years of relevant site supervision experience as a

resident engineer.

In addition to the qualifications, site supervision and practical experience as

specified, all Site Supervisors shall also possess the following competencies and

personal attributes:

* technically strong, able to review design details, method statements and use

sound judgment to resolve site issues during the course of construction works;

*conversant with local building codes and regulations, authority requirements

and practices;

* attended minimally 1 safety course & demonstrate safety acumen to highlight

potential safety infringements/unsafe practices on site;

* demonstrate maturity and ability to manage a team of Site Supervisors

* possible good communication and inter-personal skills, and able to work as a

team player;

* diligent, methodical, meticulous and willing to work overtime; and

* keen learner and supportive of digitalisation efforts in projects.

* Relevant experience refers to the necessary site supervision / practical experience and skills set that the site supervisor possesses to supervise the construction of the civil / structural / mechanical and electrical / architectural works of the project(s) to which he is to be assigned to.

* Subject to the approval of the supervising qualified persons, the number of years of working experience as a project engineer in a Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy firm or as a construction engineer with large contractor firms supervising engineering works may be considered in the respective minimum number of years of experience for SRE and RE.

A Site Engineer in the construction industry is responsible for managing and supervising on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Key duties and responsibilities include:

1. Site Supervision

• Supervise daily construction activities on site

• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards

• Coordinate with foremen, workers, and subcontractors

2. Project Coordination

• Coordinate between consultants, contractors, and clients

• Assist in resolving technical and site issues

• Ensure smooth workflow between different trades (structural, M&E, architectural works)

3. Quality Control

• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks

• Ensure corrective actions are taken for non-conformance issues

4. Safety Management

• Enforce site safety regulations and procedures

• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox meetings

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations

5. Project Documentation

• Maintain daily site reports and progress records

• Track work progress against project schedule

• Prepare site instructions, RFIs (Requests for Information), and reports

6. Material Management

• Monitor material delivery and usage on site

• Verify quantities and ensure proper storage and handling

• Assist in material requisition and ordering

7. Planning and Scheduling

• Assist project manager in planning work sequences

• Monitor project timeline and report delays

• Help coordinate recovery plans if delays occur

8. Measurement and Cost Control

• Take site measurements for progress claims

• Assist in preparation of progress payment claims

• Monitor site activities to avoid wastage and cost overruns

9. Communication

• Act as liaison between site team and office/project management

• Attend site meetings and report progress updates

• Communicate instructions clearly to workers and subcontractors

Responsibilities:

• Develop the project business locally and identify and directly target architects and developers for projects.
• Support local distributors with pricing, catalogues and project specification support.
• Achieve annual sales targets and assist in tender for projects
• Assist with market research or other local activities related to market and business development and sales growth.
• Promote brand awareness, identify prospective clients, and expand the clientele base for the company with focus on the construction sector.
• Take ownership and lead business development efforts in selected market segments.
• To execute plans and strategies set by General Manager and the company.
• Attend to sales enquiries and prepare quotations.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree in Marketing / Business or any relevant discipline
• Possess min 3 to 5 years experience in sales or marketing with good track records in working with developers, architectural and designer firms.

• Experience in the sanitary fittings industry will be an added advantage
