• Contractual Advice: Advising on contract terms, conditions, and legal regulations.

Post-Contract Services:

• Cost Management: Monitoring project costs against the budget to prevent overspending.
• Valuations & Payments: Evaluating, validating, and submitting monthly progress claims from contractors and subcontractors.
• Variation Orders: Managing, valuing, and negotiating changes in the scope of work.
• Final Account: Settling final accounts with all parties to close out the project.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance Operations

• Handle full set or partial sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely
• Prepare bank reconciliation and monthly financial reports
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing

Project Costing & Budgeting

• Monitor project budgets and track construction costs
• Work closely with Project Managers on cost allocation and reporting
• Prepare cost reports and highlight variances

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Verify supplier invoices and ensure proper documentation
• Process progress claims, subcontractor payments, and staff claims
• Maintain proper records of all payables

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare customer invoices and progress billings
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes
• Assist with GST submission and tax-related matters (if applicable)

Administrative Support

• Support audits and liaise with external auditors
• Assist in financial data entry and reporting
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (Construction industry experience is an advantage)
• Familiar with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

• To assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination works of all architectural trades, finishes and interfacing with M&E and Structural detail.

• Ensure all architectural drawing, material sample submission, and method statement are submitted on time as per program.

• To coordinate with other team members and subcontractors to resolve any challenges

• Review project specifications, technical clarifications, review accuracy of construction drawings, charts and forms

• Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, project supervision and documentation

• Coordinate with Architect, Structural and M&E staff members to resolved related problems and issues

• Ensure quality of works and detailing is achieved, and complied with any safety regulation and maintainability.

• Lead the architectural coordination meeting and prepare relevant meeting minutes

• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.
