We are a licensed asset management company in Singapore, providing high-net-worth clients with comprehensive wealth management and structuring services. Our offerings include family offices, family funds, family trusts, PPLI solutions, as well as providing financial institutions with solutions to launch funds under our CMS license. Additionally, we assist clients with various financial license applications and provide ongoing compliance and regulatory support.
At present, we are assisting our Hong Kong client group in establishing a brand-new, one-stop asset management platform in Singapore. As the group’s appointed service provider in Singapore, we have been entrusted to recruit an experienced professional to join their Singapore team, responsible for key core functions.
The group has long-standing operations in both Singapore and Hong Kong, with a solid business foundation. Currently, the assets under management in Hong Kong amount to approximately HKD 20 billion. The group holds Hong Kong licenses 1, 4, 6, and 9, and in Singapore, it holds both an asset management license and an insurance brokerage license.
JobSummary
We areseeking an experienced Fund Manager with a strong background in public equitiesand basic exposure to derivatives trading. The role focuses on secondary marketinvestments and does not involve private equity or pure fixed incomestrategies. The candidate is required to be familiar with institutionaltrading, portfolio management and compliance workflows, but is notrequired to independently complete all operational processes.
KeyResponsibilities
- Manage and monitor public equity portfolios across regional and global markets
- Assist in formulation and execution of equity and derivatives investment strategies
- Conduct fundamental and technical analysis for listed equities and related instruments
- Support portfolio rebalancing, risk control, and performance monitoring
- Work alongside operations and compliance teams, and be familiar with trading, settlement, and reporting workflows
- Participate in market research, macro analysis, and investment idea generation
- Support risk management through exposure control and stress testing
(Note:Candidate is required to be familiar with operational, settlement, andcompliance processes, but is not required to independently complete or leadall such processes.)
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in public equity investment, asset management, or institutional trading
- Strong background in listed equities, with basic to intermediate experience in derivatives (e.g. options, futures, structured products)
- Solid understanding of secondary market operations
- Familiar with institutional investment workflows including:
- Trade execution
- Clearing & settlement
- Risk management
- Compliance and reporting
- No background in private equity required
- Strong analytical, communication, and execution skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced investment environment
PreferredQualifications
- CFA, CAIA, or relevant professional certifications
- Experience managing discretionary portfolios
- Prior experience in banks, licensed fund managers, or asset management firms
