Job Description
·      We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) to join an established Avaloq delivery team, focusing on defect analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation within an existing Avaloq platform.Â
·      This role is ideal for a hands-on Avaloq developer who can quickly understand complex, non-greenfield environments, work independently, and deliver high-quality fixes while collaborating closely with business analysts, QA teams, and production support.Â
Key Responsibilities
·       Analyse, diagnose, and resolve functional and technical defects within the Avaloq platformÂ
·      Perform root cause analysis across: Avaloq Script Task definitions and execution Reports (screen, print, datamarts)Â
·      Interfaces and database objects Develop, implement, and unit test fixes aligned with Avaloq development standards and best practicesÂ
·      Support defect resolution across environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production)Â
·      Collaborate with business analysts and testers to: Clarify defect requirements Reproduce issuesÂ
·      Validate solutions Ensure fixes are robust, scalable, and non-regressive
·       Participate in release activities, including: Code packaging Deployment support Post-deployment verificationÂ
·      Maintain and update technical documentation for fixes, workarounds, and known issuesÂ
·      Identify opportunities to improve existing code, configurations, and system stabilityÂ
Required Skills & Experience
·       Mandatory Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certificationÂ
·      Proven experience as an Avaloq Developer in: Implementation and/or Post go-live support / stabilization phases
·       Strong hands-on expertise in: Avaloq Script Task engine (definitions & execution) Reports (screen, print, datamart) Oracle database (SQL + understanding of Avaloq data model)Â
·      Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot complex customisationsÂ
·      Experience working in mature, non-greenfield environmentsÂ
·      Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a defect-resolution setting Desirable / Nice to Have Functional knowledge of: Equities Bonds Managed FundsÂ
·      Structured Products Money Market Fiduciary lifecycle Exposure to Avaloq interfaces: File-based integrationsÂ
·      Messaging systems APIs Familiarity with: Release management processesÂ
