We are looking for a Research Fellow (RF) to work on smart solid carbon sequestered concrete materials. The role will focus on research and development of new materials related to the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• The RF will be responsible for new carbon materials enhanced concrete development (e.g. via incorporation of various carbon materials where they are not only securely stored but also enhance concrete property in different ways, such as conductive concrete, structural battery, supercapacitor, smart device like energy harvester, sensor, etc.);

• The RF will also be in charge of testing of all relevant aspects of advanced concrete material developed;

• The RF will also be conducting cost-benefit and LCA analysis of the material developed

Job Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge on carbon material enhanced concrete/geopolymer material

• Need to have a PhD degree from a renowned university in material science, civil, chemical engineering or related fields.

• Familiar with relevant analytical and experimental technique/skills, hands-on experience as well as solid theoretical background; excellent paper/report writing skills

We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow to develop a CFD engine and building energy models. The role will focus on participating in the development and implementation strategy of a cloud AI-based framework to perform business valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new CFD solutions in partnership with our academic and technology partners;

• Identification of new research and technology development priorities;

• Providing CFD technical leadership to new research programs;

• Work closely with other team members to develop OpenFOAM methods, processes and workflows;

• Develop and implement mesh, solver and post-processing methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our CFD tools and workflow;

• Support and optimise CFD tools including monitoring and resolving issues;

• Ensure that CFD simulations and analysis carried out within the department are aligned with the capability of the commercial tools;

• Conduct research into and analysis the energy usage of different scenarios;

• Write reports and mapping the total energy usage;

Job Requirements:

• PhD qualification degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Applied Physics or related field

• At least 3 years of relevant experiences in CFD development.

• Familiarity with CFD solvers (Fluent, 6Sigma, STAR-CCM+, etc.)

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Proficiency in OpenFOAM development and/or in C++ language development in a CFD environment;

• Competent in soft skills / general personality traits e.g. information visualization, interaction design

• Experience with energy modelling or coding platforms including SketchUp, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, TRNSYS, and Python;

• Proven ability to work at a fast pace and to react rapidly to new information;

• F1 experience would be advantageous but not essential;

We are seeking an experienced Factory/Production Manager to lead our metal cutting operations. You will oversee daily production, machine maintenance, and factory upkeep to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output that meets customer delivery targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules with the Operator Supervisor.
• Ensure cutting processes meet quality and delivery targets.
• In-charged of machine repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Manage factory upkeep, ensuring a clean, organised, and safe working environment that complies with WSH standards.
• Lead and train supervisor and operators to achieve high productivity and quality performance.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap rate, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare production and maintenance reports as per AS9100 Quality System.
• Assist the General Manager in all ad-hoc job.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal cutting / fabrication / precision machining, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC cutting processes.

Job Requirements
