Job Description

1. Data entry of Purchasing Invoices, Receipts, Payments and Journal Entries in Dynamics 365 Business Central system
2. Raise payment vouchers and journal vouchers for various disbursements for approval
3. Handle travelling claims and billing issues
4. Handle closing of accounts and prepare full set of accounts within tight deadline
5. Monthly monitoring of cashflows
6. Perform bank reconciliation of all bank accounts for the companies
7. Maintain Fixed Asset Register and ensure that the sub-ledger tie to the general ledger
8. Raise debit/credit note to related parties for payments on their behalf
9. Prepare and submit Quarterly GST, WHT
10. Review proper transaction journals for closing of other entities within the group
11. Assist and prepare relevant supporting for internal and external auditor
12. Prepare annual budget report in Dynamics 365 Business Central system
13. Liaise with external parties such as vendors, landlord, banks, auditor and relevant statutory/ regulatory authorities
14. Handle compliance matters with MAS such as quarterly filing, assist in representative license application, response to MAS Queries and Surveys
15. Assist in ad-hoc admin tasks
16. Provide support in any other matters that the Management and the department/division head requires including adhoc projects etc

10. Help drive forward good conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial and post-fixture operations of chartered dry bulk vessels.

• Coordinate closely with charterers, shipowners, brokers, agents, terminals, Masters, and internal commercial teams to ensure efficient voyage execution.

• Monitor vessel schedules, loading and discharge operations, port rotations, and voyage performance.

• Ensure compliance with charter party terms, voyage instructions, and operational requirements throughout the voyage lifecycle.

• Prepare and review voyage documentation, Statements of Facts, laytime calculations, demurrage, and detention claims.

What you’ll do

The Financial Reporting team strives to be Marketing's centre of excellence for efficient and effective Record to Report (RTR) processes while driving optimization on processes & implementing robust controls to capture accurate business and financial information in accordance and within the framework of accounting policies across all commodities in Marketing entities.

Reporting to the Team Lead – Financial Reporting, the Analyst supports the Accountant in performing the month-end closing and financial reporting activities for the Energy Solutions businesses and works closely with other stakeholders to support the timely delivery of quality data within agreed timelines.

From time to time, the Analyst may be involved in ad hoc finance projects and business initiative and represent Finance Reporting team in providing input to enable the capturing of accurate business and financial information for the RTR processes and will also work closely with Information Management Department to deploy technology to automate finance activities.

Lastly, the Analyst plays an integral role in supporting a continuous improvement culture within Finance.

·       The Analyst helps to drive the engine room of the Finance Reporting team, making sure that transactions are appropriately accounted for, perform month end tasksand reconciliations, and duly reported. ·       Supports coordination and collection of performance information from all relevant sources and delivering Monthly Financial Statements and other regular information as required by the Marketing Business, Production Business Units or Group Finance.

Technology transformation

·       Working closely with IM, the role looks to implement technologies that improve control, increase information available for the business and automate transactional activity as much as possible, freeing up the team to add value elsewhere. It needs to think differently about the work Finance does and how it gets done, including the elimination of manual journals and recons as a cost to quality.

·       As we implement new systems, the role needs to establish appropriate processes for defining user needs and managing UAT for the Finance department, ensuring that accounting logic and financial controls are appropriately captured.
