OBJECTIVES (GOALS)

Your key responsibilities to support the overall manufacturing business through the development of precision complex machining, tooling and NC programming design, conducting process reviews, overseeing various aspects of engineering processes, and performing cost analysis related to machining manufacturing.

This role requires an understanding of the entire machining process, from interpreting engineering drawings to estimating production hours and optimizing efficiency.

DUTIES

· Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements and ensure compliance with

technical specifications and quality standards.

· Ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Monitor machining processes.

· Provide technical reviews for machining and tooling design in precision machining.

· Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement.

· Assist engineers in the design and development of precision engineering components and systems.

· Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.

· Monitor project progress and report any issues to the engineering team.

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

REQUIREMENT

· Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Precision Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.

· Proficiency in CAD software (MasterCAM, SolidCAM, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools is an

advantage

· Experience with production planning, quotation preparation, and time estimation.

· Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and equipment.

· Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

As a company at the cutting edge of engineering and robotics, we are looking for a suitable candidate that will push NACT forward as a bespoke drone solutions provider for our clients in the APAC region.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor.
• Ensure all log books are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings and guidance from engineers.
• Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures.
• Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating.
• Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results.
• Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
• Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting products as required.
• Order and stock materials and supplies to avoid materials shortages.
• Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different work stations.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures.
• Maintain work area to be clean, safe and orderly.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Electronic and Robotics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
