Job Summary

The Application Engineering Technician supports engineers to ensure customer satisfaction, product compliance, and timely resolution of quality issues by collaborating across departments and assisting with new product launches and customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately log customer complaints to maintain complete records for quality tracking
• Support daily customer quality operations by managing feedback and inquiries promptly
• Assist engineers in performing initial containment actions such as identifying risky products and coordinating rework
• Collaborate with Application Engineering and Quality Assurance Engineers to support root cause investigations
• Prepare 8D reports and document corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues
• Follow up on open quality issues to ensure timely resolution and closure
• Assist in preparing customer quality reports, including defect trends and statistical process control (SPC) data
• Monitor quality trends and report non-conformances to engineers for further action
• Support engineers during customer visits by preparing and delivering required data and samples
• Coordinate testing and assessment of engineering samples to support product evaluation

Required competencies and certifications

• NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering field, or equivalent
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as needed

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience or related roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, to manage data and reports
• Basic knowledge of statistical or quality tools for quality analysis
• Experience in quality documentation and organized record keeping
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving skills to support investigations and corrective actions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Description

Faculty members will be expected to teach existing undergraduate and graduate courses as part of the Civil and Environmental Engineering curriculum, as well as develop new and innovative courses related to climate, energy, and sustainability.

Job Requirements

The candidate should hold a doctorate in Environmental/Energy Engineering and Science, or a closely related discipline, preferably with background and experience in Energy Storage, Decarbonization, and Climate Resilience.

Postdoctoral experience and/or relevant industry experience and professional qualifications (e.g. professional engineer) will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform production job support and track incidents to closure especially on the batch job recovery and failures
• Conducting EVMS (Enterprise Vulnerability Management System) assessment and patching to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Participating in on-call rotations to address urgent monitoring issues outside of regular business hours.
• Respond to alerts and incidents generated by monitoring systems, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
• Evaluate potential solutions relating to business intelligence and data warehouse and make recommendations to resolve business problems
• Liaise closely with vendors and project team members in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies
• Support the team in defining, tracking and documentation of the technical deliverables expected
• Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support on technical aspects

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Five (5) years’ experience in developing, implementing and maintaining data warehouse.
• Strong experience in using Informatica PowerCenter with ability to diagnose and troubleshoot ETL errors.
• Strong SQL skills using Oracle and SQL server databases.
• Thorough understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional design, and ETL optimization.
• Experience in data modelling and design.
• Ability to manage users, vendors and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently, as well as in a team

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field
• Minimum 3 years of plant maintenance experience, preferably in oil & gas or marine terminal industry
• Practical skills in servicing, maintenance, and overhaul of pumps, rotating machinery, and static equipment
• Effective communication and team-building skills to lead and develop maintenance personnel
• Willingness to perform outdoor fieldwork

Job Summary

Assist Senior Engineers in repairing, recalibrating, and rectifying marine automation and instrumentation devices on vessels. Provide technical support, conduct electrical testing, and prepare service reports while working at various international locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers in executing repair, recalibration, and rectification of marine automation and instrumentation devices for Boiler Combustion Control Systems and Inert Gas Control Systems following manufacturer instructions
• Perform electrical testing of voltage, resistance, and current using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and mA meters to verify device functionality
• Deliver onsite and remote technical support to resolve marine automation system issues efficiently
• Prepare timely service reports and update project logs to document maintenance and repair activities
• Travel to vessels at shipyards, anchorages, and overseas locations including Singapore, China, Middle East, and Europe to perform assigned tasks

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Work experience in marine automation field for 1 to 3 years (on-the-job training provided)
• Onboard experience with VLCC, LNG vessels, container ships, and chemical tankers
• Diploma, Advanced/Higher Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Certificate, or NITEC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
• Willingness and ability to travel inbound/outbound on assignments during odd hours, including weekends

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in marine equipment engineering, boiler control systems, and control valves
• Experience in calibration of control valves and pneumatic instruments
• Demonstrated good work discipline
