Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically versatile IT Support Engineer to provide dedicated remote technical support and infrastructure management. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for remote users, ensuring their endpoints, productivity suites, and core infrastructure operate seamlessly. You will handle a mix of day-to-day helpdesk operations, proactive system maintenance, and cloud administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Remote Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 remote support for end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

Core Requirements

- Plan, develop and prepare teaching materials and resources prior to lesson

- Marking of students’ assignments and support them in preparation for school’s weighted assessment or end-of-year paper

- Provide regular updates to both students and parents on students’ progress and math competency

- Establish a work plan to support each individual student’s growth to support their learning journey at our centre

2. Support duties:

- Take charge of cleanliness, stationery and teaching resources such as manipulatives or past year exam papers in classrooms for all trainers

- Conduct assessment for new students

- Assist to source for relief teachers and handle time-sheets for part time teachers

- Handle enquiries pertaining to math curriculum and manage trainers’ profile

Working days and hours:

4 weekdays + 1 weekend / 5 weekdays

A. Cell Group

Work closely with the Pastor-in-Charge and Chairperson of Cell Group Ministry to:

1. Lead the drive to improve effectiveness of CG Ministry by having a finger of the pulse of CGs in order to make a good assessment of the health of the ministry through
2. Collecting & analysing macro level data on participation and involvement of members e.g. attendance, level of contribution during CG & preparedness for CG meetings
3. Mentoring selected CGLs to identify and respond to challenges & opportunities in specific groups
4. Working alongside the selected CGLs to identify and groom individuals with leadership potential
5. Promote collaboration between CG ministry and other ministries to engage CG for Church-wide initiatives in tandem with service opportunities for CGs
6. Facilitate sessions to promote ownership of the ministry and build a community of Mutual support and encouragement among CGLs

B. Outreach

Work closely with the Pastor-in-Charge, W&E Pastor and Chairperson of W&E Ministry to:

1. Facilitate W&E activities and to stand-in when volunteers are not available.

• Alpha Courses (Saturdays)
• Assist Chairperson to plan and coordinate volunteer, especially during weekdays
• Co-facilitator of Alpha Courses, where necessary
• Assist chairperson and Alpha team in major activities of Alpha such as Alpha Intro, Alpha Weekend and Alpha Finale.

2. English Classes

• Administration related to student enrolment
• Assist Chairperson in Block Outreaches
• Serve as one of the liaisons & coordination POC with agencies (e.g. Fei Yue, Resident Committee/Network, PA), especially during office hours.  This includes any commercial companies related to the outreach activities/events.
• Assist Chairperson on new Outreach endeavours or collaboration with other MCI ministries (e.g. CG outreach coordination, parenting class/community, migrant outreach, creative arts evangelism such as dance)
  

3. Evangelistic Services

• Support pastors and ministry in planning and arrangements
• Preparation of materials and equipment, where relevant.

4. Collect, document and analyse outreach data:

• Tracking attendance of activities/events
• Reporting and sharing of post-event review for learning and improvements.
• Advisory to W&E sub-ministry on analysed data, e.g. demographic of event and follow-up

C. Discipleship and Nurture

Work closely with the Pastor-in-Charge, and Chairperson of D&N Ministry to:

1. Facilitate lay training

• Design and recommend to the Local Church Executive Committee an organisation of the training programme of the local church which shall include courses in discipleship, theology, bible study and contemporary Christian concerns.

• Work with the church school superintendent to organise training for church Sunday school personnel.

2. Facilitate Stewardship training

Encourage (using Scripture, tradition, reason, and experience as a basis) stewardship in the local church through five components:

• The use of God-given talents

• Personal financial management and life commitments

• Personal giving through the local church

• Local church management of resources, and

• The Christian steward’s responsibility in God’s world.

Work with others on the Local Church Executive Committee to formulate plans and recommend resources to encourage growth in each of these areas.

D. Sunday School

Work closely with and under the guidance of the Pastor-in-Charge to supervise the total programme of education in the church school. Responsibilities will include:

1. Serving as the administrator of the church Sunday School;
2. Working with the Discipleship and Nurture Committee in the training and selection of church school teachers and leaders;
3. Identifying the needs for various kinds of study opportunities and recommending plans for a study programme in accordance with those needs;
4. Serving as an educational consultant to the Sunday School teachers;
5. Developing and implementing programmes to promote church school attendance and participation; and
6. Evaluating the effectiveness of the study programme of the local church.

Candidates should preferably have received theological education but will still be considered even if they did not. Must be able to work on Sundays.

JOB GOAL: The High School Counselor provides proactive, Christ-centered counseling and academic guidance for students in Grades 9-12. The counselor promotes emotional well-being, resilience, and academic success through direct counseling services, collaboration with teachers and parents, and schoolwide initiatives. Serving as a student advocate and intermediary, the counselor supports effective communication between students, faculty, administration, and parents. A primary focus is guiding students through college and career planning. All ICS faculty demonstrate Christian character through kindness, grace, and integrity, creating a nurturing space for students.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Counseling & Student Support

• Provide individual and small-group counseling to support students’ social-emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal needs.

• Maintain a safe, confidential, and supportive environment that promotes student trust and growth.

• Implement preventive and responsive interventions using evidence-based, solution-focused, and restorative approaches.

• Partner with the Learning Support Teacher and MS/HS Principal to address students’ holistic needs through targeted academic, social, and emotional interventions that enhance classroom engagement, organization, motivation, and peer relationships.

• Refer students to external professionals or agencies when specialized care is required, ensuring coordinated follow-up and communication.

Consultation & Collaboration

• Serve as a student advocate and liaison, fostering open communication among students, teachers, parents, and administration.

• Partner with teachers to design classroom strategies that promote positive behavioral, social-emotional, and academic outcomes.

• Support crisis management by providing immediate intervention and follow-up support when necessary.

Academic, College, and Career Counseling

• Provide students and families with personalized academic, college, and career counseling throughout high school, supporting course selection, graduation planning, and postsecondary preparation.

• Guide students through the college exploration, application, and decision process, integrating faith-based discernment and reflection.

• Plan and coordinate college fairs, scholarship information sessions, and financial aid workshops in partnership with universities and external organizations.

• Implement and refine students’ High School and Post High School plans on an annual basis through individual counseling that results in a written academic learning plan for each student.

• Design, deliver, and evaluate developmentally appropriate lessons focused on executive functioning, academic success, emotional wellness, resilience, and college/career readiness (during Advisory).

• Manage student schedules, grades, transcripts, and College Board records, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with graduation requirements.

• Oversee the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) program and coordinate all relevant courses and assessments. 

• Coordinate the administration of standardized assessments (PSAT, SAT, AP exams, etc.) and use data to inform counseling and academic planning.

• Review academic records for prospective students to assess eligibility for grade level admission.

Parent & Community Engagement

• Partner with parents to promote consistent home-school approaches to supporting student development.

• Provide parent education workshops and communication to strengthen understanding of adolescent development, stress management, and college readiness.

• Lead alumni engagement and mentorship initiatives that connect graduates with current students for guidance and inspiration.

School-Wide Contributions

• Support student transitions between Middle School to High School and from High School to Post Secondary institutions through targeted workshops and programs.
