Overview: The Sales Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. This role requires a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and sales expertise to assist the sales manager in achieving sales targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support:Collaborate with the sales manager to develop sales strategies and action plans to meet or exceed targets.
2. Assist in identifying sales opportunities and potential areas for growth.
3. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

- Perform quantity take-offs for M&E services

- Source and evaluate quotations from M&E suppliers and subcontractors

- Manage variation orders (VO)

- Liaise closely with consultants, contractors, and suppliers

Requirements:

- ITE/ Diploma /Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field

- Minimum 3 years of QS experience in M&E/building services projects

- Good understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection works

- Good written and spoken English

- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently

What you'll be doing

• Developing and managing project plans, schedules and budgets
• Coordinating and supervising cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed effectively
• Identifying and mitigating project risks, issues and constraints
• Communicating project status and performance to stakeholders
• Ensuring projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols
• Providing technical guidance and support to project teams

What we're looking for

• Minimum 20 years' experience as a Project Manager in the engineering industry, preferably in electrical engineering projects. Minimum one HDB project completion is REQUIRED
• Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Technical proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices
• Proficient in project scheduling, cost control and risk management
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field
