Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Operations Manager drives operational excellence across healthcare facilities by leading teams, optimizing processes, and integrating retail best practices to enhance patient satisfaction and business performance across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies that improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth aligned with organizational goals
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational plans with business objectives and industry best practices
• Identify, evaluate, and execute process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance patient and customer experiences
• Oversee staffing, budget management, and equipment allocation to optimize resource utilization and operational outcomes across clinics or service locations
• Lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams to foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and customer-focused culture
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development to team members to improve individual and team effectiveness
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and customer-facing teams to improve communication, coordination, and service delivery
• Apply retail industry best practices in customer service, front-line engagement, and service recovery to boost patient satisfaction, retention, and overall experience
• Manage travel logistics to support operations across multiple clinic or business locations as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
• 5–10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare, retail, or multi-site service environments
• Proven experience managing multiple locations or business units
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Responsibilities (Senior / Backend Engineer)

Design & Development

• Take ownership of the design, development, refactoring, and performance optimization of core system components, delivering high-quality and maintainable code.

Technical Innovation & Problem-Solving

• Research, design, and implement innovative solutions to address complex business and technical problems, particularly in high-concurrency scenarios.

System Architecture

• Contribute to system architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

Full-Lifecycle Participation

• Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design to testing, deployment, and operational monitoring.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work effectively with local and regional team members, as well as business unit partners.
• Share knowledge, promote best practices, and help elevate the team's overall technical capabilities.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
2. 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
3. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (operating systems, network principles, data structures, and algorithms)
4. Programming Languages: High proficiency in Java (including JVM internals and performance tuning) or Node.js (including its event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming model). Proficiency in both is a significant plus.
5. Frameworks & Middleware: Proficient with common open-source frameworks and tools such as Kafka, RocketMQ, Dubbo, Zookeeper, and Redis.
6. Deep knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, SQL optimization, and database scaling strategies.
7. System Experience: Proven, hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining high-concurrency, high-performance, and high-availability systems.
