We are seeking one highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team at the Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (SynCTI), Synthetic Biology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and the National Centre for Engineering Biology (NCEB).  

The selected Research Fellow will work collaboratively with the Principal Investigator (PI) and our research team on projects aimed at advancing sustainable bioproduction. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in metabolic pathway engineering, microbial engineering and the development of cell factories for bioproduction. • In charge of all used vehicle and Leasing fleet for the company

• In charge of the vehicle movement and parking

• In charge of arranging the vehicle for repair, regular servicing and inspection, including scheduling, arranging of manpower, dealing with external contractor/vendors and etc.

• In charge and ensure that the vehicles are in good ready condition to be delivered any time

• In charge and ensure that vehicle has cleared the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before delivering to customer

• In charge of getting the reinstatement quote for leasing customer returning vehicle, including able to quote independently

• In charge of the company phone and be the main contact point for leasing customer (including weekends)

• Dealing with vehicle breakdown involving our leasing fleet including over-the-phone advise to the driver, arranging for towing, onsite support, etc.

• Dealing with accident involving our leasing fleet including over-the-phone advise to the driver, arranging driver down to do accident report, collecting accident excess from customer, etc.

• Assist the credit control team in the rental payment collection from specific group of customers

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum qualification: GCE O-Level

• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

• Experienced in mediation and conflict resolution processes

• Attentive listener with a compassionate, empathetic, and personable demeanor

• Proactive mindset with a positive attitude toward learning and growth

• 5-day work week with one Saturday shift (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM), scheduled on a rotational roster

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Verify progress claims, invoices, and payment certifications.
• Monitor project costs and budgets.
• Prepare variation orders (VO), cost analysis, and project reports.
• Track material purchases and subcontractor claims.
• Assist in project cost control and contract administration.
• Prepare delivery orders, invoices, and project documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and document control systems.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Assist in permit applications, project submissions, and compliance documentation.
• Handle correspondence, data entry, and general office administration.
• Support management in daily administrative operations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant QS or construction administration experience.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, costing, and procurement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Client Relations & Administration Executive

Responsible for managing client support and after-sales services, coordinating documentation, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The role focuses on maintaining good client relationships, resolving operational issues, and handling administration.

Key Responsibilities

• After-Sales / Client Relations
• Act as the main point of contact for existing clients.
• Handle client enquiries, feedback, and service-related issues.
• Follow up on client requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with operations and site teams to meet client requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit updates, reports, and required documentation to clients.
• Support contract renewals and service coordination.
• Manage filing and document control.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Coordinate with government agencies, clients, suppliers, and workers when required.
• Provide general administrative support to management.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience in administration, construction, or related industries is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
