Roles & Responsibilities

· Coordinate with principals, sales, project team and clients to produce valued engineering design & construction documents.

· Strong knowledge of building/Façade systems

· Plan concept design by studying construction specifications and material details.

· Prepare 2D & 3D Detail Drawings with Autocad.

· Well organize design drawing sets.

· Obtain approvals from clients with concept drawings.

· Preparation of Shop, Construction and As-built drawings.

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

· Degree in Engineering related to construction sector.

· Well versed with Autodesk Autocad software.

· Good verbal, written and graphic communication skills.

· Able to communicate well in English.

· Self-motivated and enjoys contributing to highly collaborative teams

· Possess initiative & good working attitude

· Flexible and well-rounded to accommodate shifting schedules, project demands, multiple time zones, and deadlines.

JOB ROLE

· Responsible for quantity take-off and cost estimation of tenders and projects.

· Prepare for tender submission and follow-up with Tender Questionnaires reply and Interview.

· Sourcing, evaluate and negotiation with specialists, suppliers and subcontractors.

· Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in timely manner.

· Finalize project accounts with clients and subcontractors.

· Deal with significant contractual issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions etc.

· Analyze tender outcome and prepare detailed reports for review.

· Aware and comply with relevant regulations such as Security of Payment Act (SOP), etc.

· Ensure compliance with relevant ISO and company standards or objectives

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum diploma or degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering.

· At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Construction Sector.

· Good knowledge of construction drawings, sequences and materials.

· Process relevant skills in MS Office, AutoCad, Microsoft Project and MS Business Centre.

· Good communication skills in both oral and written English and has the ability to liaise effectively with other professionals, e.g. clients / developers, main contractors, construction managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, architects, designers, other engineers, consultants, suppliers, etc.

· Possess excellent negotiation and coordination skills and able to work in fast paced environment.

· Independent with excellent problem solving skills, detailed and a good team player
