Reporting to Head of Sales, this role is to manage daily sales administration activities, ensuring timely delivery of accurate quotations and documentation, while providing responsive support to customer enquiries and maintaining compliance with company standards.

Duties and Responsibilties

Operation

• Ensure engineering documentation and sales quotations are prepared accurately and delivered to customers on time, with all clarifications addressed.

• Support the Head of Department in handling and escalating any technical or documentation-related clarifications.

• Prepare and submit quotations and tender documents to customers.

• Process sales transactions via online platforms, email, and phone.

• Ensure accuracy of orders and invoices.

• Manage order fulfilment and delivery timelines.

• Compile sales reports and monitor sales activities.

• Maintain and update customer databases and records.

• Act as a point of coordination for daily activities of the Engineering Support Administrator.

• Communicate and escalate customer feedback to relevant stakeholders.

• Develop strong knowledge of company products and service offerings.

 Administration

• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Address customer enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of service quality.

• Monitor sales progress and support the Head of Sales in tracking team and company targets.

• Work collaboratively with internal departments such as Sales, Engineering, Accounting, Production, Service, and Warehousing.

• Contribute to a positive team environment, ensuring strong cooperation and mutual support to deliver excellent customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, troubleshoot electrical systems in vehicles / equipment.

• Support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and policies.

• Provide assistance to customers, and fellow technicians when required.

• Able to perform or undertake mechanical repairs as well to support repairs necessary for customer’s equipment.

• Communicate well, truthfully.

• Diligent, takes initiative, and willing to work extra hours to resolve customer needs.

Requirements:

• Hands-on knowledge of vehicle / equipment maintenance. Ability to follow process and guidance.

• At least 2 years hand-on on vehicle / equipment maintenance. Ability to handle data recording for maintenance scope carried out.

• Minimum technical certifications or diploma. Class 3 Singapore diving license.

• Knowledge to use hand tools and safety.

• Class 4 driving license, forklift, welding skills, basic computer skills are good to have.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team, a leading firm specialising in the design and manufacture of waste management and municipal equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that make a real impact on communities and the environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and Development

• Lead the design and development of waste management and municipal equipment, ensuring all products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

• Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed 2D, 3D models and technical drawings.

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs and modifications.

• Construct and maintain accurate BOMs and revision control systems, building a standard parts directory, material library and producing company engineering standards.

Project Management

• Oversee projects from concept through to production, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and design team members.

Innovation and Improvement

• Drive innovation by researching and integrating new technologies and materials to enhance product performance and sustainability.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions while maintaining product integrity.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports, including compliance certifications and testing protocols.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise and support.

• Present design concepts and project updates to clients and senior management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronic or a related field. Professional engineering qualifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer) preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design engineering, with a proven track record in waste management or municipal equipment. Proficient in mechanical structural calculation.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and knowledge of engineering principles related to mechanical design and fabrication.

• Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. LTA submission, compliance with safety regulations. Engineering support and correspondence to vehicular projects.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
