Join a leading firm as a Senior Accounting Manager, where you’ll oversee complex accounting operations and drive process improvements in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy in compliance with IFRS and SFRS.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Review journals and conduct reconciliation for bank, inventory, and intercompany transactions.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Oversee group consolidation and coordinate statutory accounts across multiple entities in the region.
- Review consolidated financial statements and intercompany transactions, managing eliminations and FX adjustments.
- Analyze impacts of M&A accounting and assist with consolidation journalizing.
- Review Corporate Income Tax filings and related schedules, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Evaluate GST returns and ensure accurate reporting for domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Maintain internal controls for consolidation processes and documentation.
- Present financial results to senior management and provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Drive automation and process improvement for financial reporting, with experience in digital transformation beneficial.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or a Professional Accountancy qualification.
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant accounting, consolidation, and taxation experience, with at least 3 to 4 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven subject matter expert in accounting, consolidation, and taxation topics.
- Strong mentoring and training capabilities, with experience in creating growth paths for team members.
- Proficiency in AS/400, SAP, DIVA, MYOB, QuickBooks, and MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to system implementation projects and RPA solutions is a plus.
