The Financial Planning Associate provides support to the Executive Wealth Director in implementation and ongoing management of client financial plans. This role involves sales planning and strategies, achieving sales target, data gathering, analysis and financial modeling, client communication, and administrative tasks, all contributing to delivering exceptional client service and achieving client financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Director in sales planning, strategies and achieve sales targets.

Prepare client meetings, including compiling necessary documents, reports, and presentations.

Communicate with clients to gather financial information and provide advisory solutions to their financial needs and objectives.

Follow up with clients to validate data, clarify objectives, and ensure all requests are fulfilled.

Maintain strong, credible relationships with clients.

Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Assist in research and analysis of investment strategies, financial products, and market trends.

Process new account applications, transfers, deposits/withdrawals, and trades as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Maintain accurate and organized client records and databases (CRM).

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Assist with special projects to enhance financial planning delivery and firm efficiency.

Your role is to assist Senior Wealth and Financial Director in identifying market opportunities, prospecting and closing sales as well as analyze how investment products fit into a client’s long-term protection and legacy planning.

Job Description

1. Investment Research & Analysis
Analyze financial products to assess their risk-return profiles.
Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on various financial assets.
Monitor global market trends and summarize their impact on client portfolios.
Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking of different investment products.

2. Portfolio Support & Reporting
Assist in the preparation of financial and investment proposal decks and monthly portfolio performance reviews.
Assist in preparing financial portfolio summaries that consolidate a client's existing portfolio, coverage gaps, and investment performance.
Draft investment proposals tailored to specific life stages (e.g., education planning for children or retirement legacy).

3. Client & Sales Operation

Conducting sales and support in meeting sales targets.
Shadowing client meetings to record minutes and track follow-up actions (e.g., account opening, KYC documentation).
Assisting in onboarding of clients
Track sales performance data and incentive tiers for the team

Identify potential clients to qualify interest.

Maintain sales/admin system by logging all client interactions. Clean and organize data to ensure the sales funnel remains accurate and up-to-date. Track monthly sales and KPIs.
3. Sales Support & Collateral
Assist in creating tailored pitch decks, proposals, and quotations using PowerPoint or Canva. Conduct market research on competitors. Prepare and assist in client meetings.
4. Client Engagement
Shadow senior staff during sales calls or product demonstrations to learn closing techniques. Follow up with inactive leads to re-engage them with new promotions or product updates. Help manage logistics for sales events, roadshows, or exhibitions.

This position is instrumental in supporting the Executive Wealth Director in all aspects of wealth, sales prospecting and financial planning, including pre and post events organization, customer acquisition and follow-up, assist in closing of sales and deals.

Core Function & Support

• Provide direct administrative and analytical support to the Executive Wealth Director and his team.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing routine inquiries and scheduling meetings.
• Ensure all client files, investment paperwork, and firm documentation are complete, accurate, and comply with regulatory standards.
• Prepare necessary materials, reports, and presentations for client review meetings.
• Para planner in closing sales and meeting sales targets.

Administrative & Operational Tasks

• Handle the opening, closing, transferring, and maintenance of client accounts.
• Accurately update client information, transaction records, and portfolio details in the firm's system.
• Manage the Executive Wealth Manager's calendar, client appointment setting, and travel arrangements if necessary.
• Draft and send professional correspondence (emails, letters) to clients and internal teams.

Financial & Analytical Duties

• Generate performance reports, portfolio summaries, and asset allocation breakdowns for clients.
• Process and monitor wealth and financial plans under the direction of the Wealth Manager (may require licencing)
• Assist with calculating and processing client management fees and service charges.
• Conduct basic research on investments, market trends, or financial products as requested.
