As an Engine Technician (Disassembly and Build), you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine engines.

The Job

· Perform disassembly, tear down and assembly of turboprop engine module parts in accordance with Engine Manual

· Use of correct, approved tools, equipment for MRO work

· Ensure that all overhaul and repair activities are carried out in accordance with engine manuals, approved technical data, regulatory requirements procedures

· Read updates on maintenance manuals, service bulletins, other specifications and regulatory requirements to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

· Liaise with Engineering and raising discrepancy report on quality non-conformances

· Support implementation of continuous improvement

· Ensure that all work are carried out meets quality requirements as per respective engine manual

· Be responsible for care and cleanliness of equipment and work station

· Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices

Requirements:

• GCE “N” or “O” Level / Nitec/ Higher Nitec / Diploma from a Technical discipline, Aerospace Engineering discipline or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engine workshop practices, MRO activities gas turbine engine components

• Ability to read, understand approved technical data in English

• Basic understanding of relevant air worthiness, regulatory agencies requirement

• Basic use of hand and measurement tools

As a Shipping and Logistics Specialist, you will have responsibility in ensuring incoming engines and materials are routed properly and our finished product is sent back to our customers in a timely manner.

What you’ll do:

• Perform receiving and record data into ERP system
• Examine and inspect incoming items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to management.
• Mark stock items using identification labels with batch numbers
• Liaise with forwarders on outbound and inbound shipments
• Coordinate with purchasing for receiving and invoice verification and relevant shipping documents 
• Verification of shipping invoices and Release of shipments to forwarders 
• Submitting of shipping details/status to customers and related parties 
• Updating/maintaining of Company's shipping database 
• Informing relevant functions/colleagues about potential deviations to agreed transport shipping agreements
• Managing and booking of freight
• Liaise with quality and buyer on parts discrepancy
• Coordinate consumables receipt and deliveries to end users.
• Assist store and warehousing functions : support receiving, issuing, scrap and stock taking when required.
• Take part in cycle counts and stock take. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies
• Keep track of inventory of shipping supplies 
• Participates as a team member in the relevant Safety sub-committee team and periodic emergency response evacuation drills
• Model behavior consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.

Position Requirements:

• Valid forklift license - 3 tonnes (preferable)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average work day.
• Good working knowledge about freight forwarding and Incoterms 

Preferred Characteristics:

• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, UPS OneWorld, DHL, and similar systems
• Well organized with attention to detail 
• Strong interpersonal skills
• 3 years’ experience working in storekeeping and shipping duties

As a Machinist, you’ll perform setup and operation on a variety of machining equipment.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and operate machine tools (CMM, CNC Milling, Lathe, grinder, milling, drilling and specialised equipments)
• Read operation sheet and perform to the expected requirements
• Machine products to tight tolerance
• Compute and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy
• Ensure the correct use of approved tools, fixtures and correct machine program selection for repair work
• Ensure thatoverhaul and repair activities are carried out in accordance with engine manuals, approved technical data, and regulatory requirements
• Performs general facility and equipment maintenance including 6s housekeeping
• Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
• Observing all applicable safety practices
• Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.

Requirements:

• GCE " N" or "O" Level / Nitec/ Higher Nitec / Diploma from a precision machining discipline, Aerospace Engineering discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years manual machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and hand tools
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to offer occasional overtime work
