The Corporate Services Division supports the organisation in financial, regulatory and tax reporting, investment management, finance operations and credit control.

Job Purpose

The Senior Executive is responsible for end-to-end operational finance activities, including premium collections, credit control, reinsurance accounting, and payment processing. Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, this role is heavily focused on high-volume, hands-on processing within Odyssey 5, including manual receipting, policy matching, and disbursement execution.

As part of an organization undergoing operational transformation, this role requires a highly resilient, detail

oriented professional with 5–8 years of experience who can take full ownership of operational challenges, meet tight deadlines, and actively contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting Structure

• Act as a core member of the Finance Operations Team.
• Report directly to the Finance Operations Manager, with timely escalation of complex operational issues and bottlenecks.

Transformation & Adaptability

• Support ongoing operational and digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify manual inefficiencies and contribute ideas toward automation and process optimization.

Manual Receipting & Policy Matching (Odyssey 5)

• Perform high-volume manual data entry into Odyssey 5 to issue official receipts for premium collections.
• Process collections from multiple channels (GIRO, PayNow, credit cards, bank transfers, broker statements).
• Investigate and manually match unidentified receipts to policies or broker accounts.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations (SGD and foreign currency) against system records.

Credit Control & Collections Management

• Monitor and manage outstanding premium balances, ensuring timely follow-up and collection.
• Generate and review aged receivables reports to track overdue accounts.
• Proactively engage brokers, agents, and policyholders to resolve outstanding invoices.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to unpaid or partially paid premiums.
• Support enforcement of credit control policies, including escalation of overdue accounts and suspension recommendations where necessary.
• Collaborate with underwriting and distribution teams to ensure accurate premium booking and timely collections.

Payment Processing &Disbursements

• Process outbound payments including vendor payments, refunds, reinsurance settlements, and broker commissions.
• Verify payment instructions, supporting documents, and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA).
• Liaise with banks on payment issues, rejected transactions, and system-related queries.

Problem Ownership & Issue Resolution

• Take full ownership of operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches such as unallocated receipts, failed payments, or unidentified transactions.
• Deliver accurate work within tight timelines, particularly during month-end and peak periods.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (underwriters, brokers, agents) to resolve discrepancies.

Reinsurance Accounting

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reinsurance statements (proportional and non-proportional treaties).
• Calculate and process outward reinsurance premiums and track inward claims recoveries.
• Manage facultative placements, including billings and settlements.
• Ensure accurate and timely data handover to the finance reporting team.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Operations Manager or Management, including support for operational, finance, or transformation-related initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of operational finance, credit control, or accounting experience.
• Experience in the Singapore General Insurance sector is highly preferred.
• Intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Experience with Odyssey 5 is a strong advantage.

Job Purpose
This is a Talent Acquisition focused role reporting directly to the Head of HR. The incumbent will lead and execute active sourcing and end-to-end recruitment activities, which supports the organization’s transformation and growth ambitions.

Role & Responsibilities:
The incumbent will support the Head of HR as the primary point of contact for talent acquisition activities, including but not limited to the following:

1. Active Sourcing of Talents

• Actively source for candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn (direct outreach), job portals, referrals, online communities, professional groups, and other niche platforms.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
• Conduct targeted searches, talent mapping, and market scans to identify suitable profiles for critical and strategic roles.
• Engage potential candidates proactively to assess interest, suitability, and cultural fit.
• Track sourcing outcomes and adjust sourcing strategies to ensure consistent candidate flow and faster hiring turnaround.

2. Talent Acquisition & Strategic Hiring

• Partner with hiring managers to identify and understand manpower requirements, hiring priorities, and success profiles; translating these into job descriptions and evalution criteria for open roles.
• Develop recruitment strategies to support critical and time-sensitive hiring needs.
• Screen and shortlist candidates, manage interview coordination, and attend interviews where required.
• Drive efficient recruitment lifecycle and provide timely updates and reports to the Head of HR.
• Work with the HR Generalist to ensure seamless onboarding for new hires.
• Be up to date with recruitment best practices and market talent trends.

3. Vendor Management

• Partner with existing external recruitment agencies for identified roles.
• Regularly review relationships of recruitment agencies to ensure fit for purpose.

4. Employer Branding

• Partner with HODs and hiring managers to craft compelling job postings aligned to the organizational employee value proposition.
• Manage candidate communications and ensure positive candidate experience.
• Support recruitment marketing or employer branding initiatives as required.

5. Data Reporting and Insights

• Generate recruitment dashboards and hiring analytics, converting data into reportable critical talent acquisition insights and commentaries.
• Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records, in a timely manner.
• Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition, workforce planning, or talent pipelines.

6. Other Responsibilities

• Undertake any other assignments or projects, as assigned to contribute to the corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in HRM or equivalent professional HR qualifications.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, with proven capabilities in active talent sourcing.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries will be an advantage.

The IT Division is responsible for delivering and operating UOI’s enterprise technology platforms, including core insurance systems, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and digital capabilities. UOI currently operates in a hybrid technology environment with a few legacy systems remaining on premises, some of which are planned for migration to the cloud over the next 18 months. The Division has a strategic focus on expanding cloud adoption and advancing AI-driven capabilities, enabling secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of applications across AI, data, and middleware environments through modern engineering and DevOps practices.

Job Purpose

The Application Engineer is responsible for the effective support and enhancement of UOI’s application and integration landscape. This role ensures applications are stable, secure, and well-supported, while working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver reliable technology solutions that meet business needs. 

Main Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved in a timely manner. 
• Manage user access administration for assigned applications, including onboarding, offboarding, and access changes, ensuring compliance with security policies and segregation of duties.
• Support audit and compliance activities by maintaining documentation and evidence for internal and external audits and ensuring timely remediation of audit findings.
• Conduct periodic access reviews to ensure adherence to least privilege and role-based access control principles.
• Design, develop, and enhance backend applications and APIs using approved UOI technologies and standards.

The Strategy & Transformation Office is responsible for driving UOI’s transformation strategy and execution. This spans a range of projects and initiatives across the company, including process improvement, technology delivery, business strategy and Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities in Artificial Intelligence solutions that impact the company’s strategic growth initiatives across systems, processes, sales and culture
• Plan, setup and execute the AI roadmap and initiatives – ranging from assessing opportunity, scoping requirements, conducting RFP, managing delivery to post go live support and ongoing enhancements
• Teamwork with fellow project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, users and other stakeholders and be accountable for overall delivery of the AI initiatives within budget, scope and timelines
• Be the bridge between STO/IT teams and business users/senior management, advising AI development in the industry as well as execution progress

Requirements
