Uncommon Studio seeks an Interior Designer with strong design sensibility to create thoughtful spaces. This role requires creativity, clear communication, and confidence in presenting design concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space plans, and material palettes to create cohesive interior environments
• Prepare mood boards, 3D visuals, and presentation decks to effectively communicate design intent
• Produce detailed drawings for client presentations and construction documentation
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project phases
• Present and articulate design proposals confidently to clients, addressing feedback and questions
• Coordinate with team members to align design solutions with project goals and client needs
• Demonstrate proactive responsibility in managing design tasks and meeting project deadlines

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in residential, retail, or commercial interior design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing design drawings
• Proficiency in SketchUp or equivalent 3D visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray)
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and presentation tools for design communication

Uncommon Studio seeks an Admin Executive to support daily operations by managing bookkeeping, preparing quotations, and coordinating administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency across projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations, invoices, and purchase orders to support project and financial workflows
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records including expenses, payments, and receipts for financial tracking
• Track project-related costs and assist in generating basic financial and project reports
• Coordinate documentation flow between designers, project teams, and suppliers to ensure timely communication
• Provide timely and accurate administrative support to facilitate smooth project execution
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial and project data effectively
• Operate accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent to manage financial records

We are seeking a hands-on Project Executive to support interior fit-out projects from coordination to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and smooth site execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate effectively with designers, contractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and schedules
• Monitor site progress and workmanship quality to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
• Assist in managing project timelines, procurement processes, and cost tracking to support on-time, on-budget delivery
• Prepare accurate site reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation for stakeholder communication
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain smooth project execution and minimize delays
• Communicate clearly with design and site teams to facilitate collaboration and problem-solving

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings to support project execution
• Basic understanding of construction processes including carpentry, ceiling works, and mechanical & electrical systems

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
