Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Requirements
Degree / Diploma in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar
3 years and above experience as QS in main-con companies
Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
Responsible for the planning, supervision and monitoring of work progress at project site
Carry out daily checks on the structural steel, architectural or metal works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections

Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and meet all safety standards and client?s requirement.
Take site measurement and issue work order
Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawing
Coordinate with site personnel, consultants and clients
Ensure smooth site progress
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering with at least three years of working experience in structural steel
Experience with BTO & HDB projects is preferable
Building Construction Supervision Safety Course to be advantage
Meticulous with good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Able to work independently, dynamic with initiative within timeline
A good team player and able to multi-task effectively with minimum supervision
