Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out a variety of survey and consultancy work within their areas of expertise
- Responsible for all aspects of the consultancy work undertaken
- Conduct business in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures
- Assist the Directors with any projects that require their discipline input
- Management of any job or project within agreed timescales with the client
- Prepare plans, estimates, schedules, and contract specifications including invoices and any other any special provisions
- The role may also be required to provide on-site support and supervision of marine warranty activities for load-out, transportation and installation of offshore structures etc
- Attend for projects and activities as subordinate engineers or marine warranty surveyors
- Prepare technical reports for use by clients
- Be Responsible for their own personal health and safety during attendance on site
- Comply with the requirements of the Company’s Quality and HSE Management system
- Comply with their responsibilities to themselves and other staff with respect to health, safety and the environment.
Job Requirements:
Qualified Master Mariner, Chief Engineer or Degree qualified in a related engineering discipline and / or appropriate experience with an offshore design firm, oil major, offshore contractor or consultancy. Experience of technical software packages appropriate to discipline. To provide consultancy services in accordance with relevant areas of expertise
