• Assist the Grooming Team and Doggy Daycare staff with daily tasks to maintain efficient service delivery
• Handle and care for dogs and cats to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming and daycare activities
• Communicate clearly in English and Chinese to support effective interactions with clients
• Apply strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and support team collaboration
• Organize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Use basic grooming skills to assist with pet care, enhancing service quality (preferred)

Job Summary

• Handle and care for dogs to maintain their well-being during grooming processes
• Communicate clearly in English and Chinese with clients to provide accurate information and support
• Work on weekends as required to meet business scheduling demands

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in handling and caring for dogs to ensure proper animal care
• Proficient in English and Chinese (oral and written) to communicate effectively with clients
• Availability to work weekends to support business scheduling needs

• Perform full and basic grooming services for dogs to meet quality standards
• Deliver friendly and effective customer service to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grooming and store premises
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to complete assigned duties and support store operations
• Work independently and manage grooming tasks efficiently while ensuring animal welfare

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a minimum SKC/DGA Class “C” certificate or higher
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of pet grooming experience
• Availability to work a 5-day week including Fridays to Sundays

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to perform full grooming on cats
• Comfort and skill working with various breeds of dogs and cats
• Strong communication skills
• Self-driven, patient, reliable, and passionate about animal care
