Job Description
We are looking for a customer-oriented Cashier / Front-of-House Service Staff to support daily restaurant operations and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and assist with menu enquiries and order taking.
- Process cash, credit card and electronic payments accurately.
- Pack takeaway orders and prepare cutlery, condiments and serving items.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the ordering counter, dining area and surrounding workspaces.
- Replenish front-of-house supplies and ensure sufficient inventory throughout operating hours.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
- Address customer feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Adhere to company policies and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Prior experience in F&B, hospitality or retail customer service will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in cashier systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Customer-oriented with a positive and service-minded attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
