About the Role

We are partnering with a leading European multinational with a strong and growing presence across Asia Pacific to hire a commercially driven and tech-savvy FP&A professional to support regional business performance, financial planning and decision-making across multiple APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regional budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes across APAC
• To assist and support financial mid-term planning, annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes, consolidation, and reporting requirements
• Analyse trends, variances and operational KPIs to support business performance management
• Assist in business units reporting for the region, including but not limited to profitability by markets, sales reporting, margin variance analysis and sales pipeline assessments
• To assist in monitoring and analyzing key metrics, drive operational performance, support cost optimization and efficiency
• Prepare and enhance KPI dashboards and management reports
• Support reporting automation and data transparency initiatives using BI and digital tools
• Participate in regional projects and ad-hoc financial analysis

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Approximately 4–6 years of relevant FP&A, commercial finance or business controlling experience within MNCs
• Strong analytical and business insight capabilities with the ability to interpret financial variances, trends and anomalies across regional markets and business units
• Strong financial planning and forecasting discipline with high ownership of regional reporting and planning processes
• Structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, multi-country and matrix environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions, cultures and regional teams
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with large datasets, reporting automation and BI tools to drive data transparency and business insights
• Advanced Excel skills with exposure to BI tools and dashboard reporting
• Experience with SAP and AI-enabled reporting tools will be advantageous
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative working style

The Company

Our client is a well-established asset management firm with core investments across real estate and sustainable infrastructure, and a strong presence across the APAC region.

This role is ideal for candidates from fund administration, asset management firms, or Big 4 audit (with exposure to investment funds) who are looking to transition into a buy-side fund management environment.

The Role

You will work closely with the line managers, supporting the following key responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end operations of assigned funds, including monitoring fund structures, cash flows and investor activities.
• Assist in maintaining fund-level data, records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review investor reporting packages (monthly/quarterly), including performance summaries and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, custodians and internal stakeholders on reporting, valuations and fund matters.
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting, including KYC/AML documentation and periodic filings.
• Assist in fund setup, onboarding and structuring activities, including documentation and deal-related materials (e.g. deal bibles).
• Monitor underlying asset performance and business plans, working closely with asset management teams.
• Support Group-level reporting and consolidation, including AUM tracking and operational metrics.
• Respond to investor queries and assist in managing investor communications.
• Participate in process improvements and ad hoc projects relating to fund operations and reporting.

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in fund management, fund administration, or audit (Big 4 with exposure to funds/asset management clients).
• Familiarity with fund structures, investor reporting, and financial statements preferred.
• Exposure to private equity / real estate / asset management funds would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in financial and operational data.
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. KYC/AML) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with ability to liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin language capability is a plus in order to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the region, including Chinese-speaking counterparts.

Our client is a well-established food ingredients and seasoning manufacturer headquartered in Germany, with a strong and growing presence across Asia.

They specialise in functional food ingredients and savoury solutions, serving industrial food manufacturers across meat processing and QSR segments.

Your Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a high-visibility regional role responsible for driving commercial growth and managing key accounts across Asia (excluding China).

This role is particularly suited for candidates with experience in B2B food ingredients (preferably functional ingredients or blends), who are accustomed to travelling across APAC markets to engage directly with customers, distributors and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth across APAC markets.
• Manage and grow key B2B accounts, particularly within meat processing, savoury and industrial food manufacturing segments.
• Drive new business development through solution-based selling, working closely with customers to understand formulation and application needs.
• Build and strengthen relationships with regional distributors and channel partners to expand market reach.
• Engage directly with customers across Asia through regular business travel, including product presentations, trials and commercial discussions.
• Lead pricing negotiations and margin optimisation, ensuring commercial sustainability.
• Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, application and technical teams to support product development, trials and customised solutions.
• Provide structured sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reporting to senior management.

This role requires regular travel (approximately 50–60%) within Asia (except China).

Your Profile

• 5–8+ years of B2B sales experience within food ingredients, with preference for functional ingredients, blends, seasoning systems or value-added solutions.
• Proven experience in solution selling to industrial food manufacturers (e.g. meat processors, QSR suppliers, food production companies).
• Strong exposure to APAC markets, with hands-on experience engaging customers across multiple countries.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (50–60%) across Asia for customer meetings, business development and relationship management.
• Demonstrated track record in managing key accounts and regional distributors.
• Strong commercial acumen in pricing, negotiation and margin management.
• Ability to operate effectively in a regional, matrix organisation, engaging stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Background in Food Science, Nutrition or related disciplines would be advantageous.
