Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and control systems, tailored to specific building and operational requirements.
• Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and system sizing to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Select appropriate electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, transformers, panels) based on technical specifications and project requirements.
• Provide guidance to the drafting team on updates or changes to electrical layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP).
• Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards (e.g., BCA, SS, IEC, ISO).
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed documentation including technical reports, cost estimates, and operation and maintenance manuals.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical system design and project implementation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and wiring standards.
• Experience in project coordination or site supervision for electrical works.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Modeller & AutoCAD Drafter to support our design and engineering teams in creating accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) and CAD drawings in line with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update 2D drawings (floor plans, sections, elevations, etc.) using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design accuracy and coordination.
• Implement and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and support clash detection processes.
• Develop detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit based on architectural, structural, or MEP designs.
• Revise drawings and models based on markups, design changes, or redlines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, file organization, and adherence to CAD/BIM standards.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork, and the ability to manage time under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modelling and AutoCAD drafting, preferably within the architectural, MEP, or structural industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360, and ISO 19650 standards is an advantage.
• Familiar with local building codes, MEP engineering documentation, and project workflows.
• Autodesk certification and a solid understanding of construction techniques are preferred.
