Responsibilities:

The Underwater Sonar Field Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of underwater sonar and acoustic sensor systems deployed at sites. The role requires strong hands-on technical capability in sonar, underwater acoustics, electronics, and system integration, with the ability to operate independently in challenging field environments. • Install, configure, commission, and test underwater sonar systems, including transducers, arrays, processing units, interfaces, and associated power and UW network infrastructure within the system is operational and serviceable at sites.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot sonar system faults spanning hardware, cabling, connectors, acoustic sensors, signal conditioning units, and embedded software to minimise system downtime. 
• Support system integration, alignment, calibration, and functional verification of sonar systems, including during upgrades, retrofits, or system modifications. 
• Conduct on-site testing, verification, and acceptance activities, including system health checks, operational testing, and post-maintenance validation. 
• Provide technical support, operational guidance, and basic training to customers, operators, and end-users on sonar system operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients ranging from affluent to high-net-worth individuals.
• Attend seminars and workshops hosted by fund managers from leading asset management firms.
• Attain 4 CMFAS certifications required for roles in financial services (training and exam fees covered).
• Participate in structured mentorship and career development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum local diploma required
• Open to final-year undergraduates and candidates with 0–2 years of working experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Motivated to build a long-term career in financial services
