Roles & Responsibilities

· Singapore Corporate Income Tax

Computing and filing of clients’ estimated chargeable income;

Examining audit work papers or clients’ management documents and audited/management reports to ascertain the clients’ chargeable income;

Using tax software to input data;

Completing income tax returns online and its filing thereafter;

Attending to IRAS’ queries and drafting a reply for the client’s approval;

Withholding tax compliance;

Advise on corporate income and withholding tax matters;

Handle ad-hoc duties such as due-diligence, tax provisions preparation, attending to tax audits and advisory (including restructuring, cross-border issues and transfer pricing) matters and attending to auditors’ queries on tax related matters.

· Individuals, partnerships and trusts Income Tax

Determining the assessable income using tax software;

Completing tax returns online at IRAS’ portal and its filing thereafter;

Meeting with clients and

Advise on income tax matters

· Goods and Services Tax

Knowledge of GST is an advantage but experience is not necessarily required;

Computing and filing GST F5 quarterly returns;

Application for GST registration and deregistration and

Advising on GST matters.

· Property Tax and Stamp Duties

Basic knowledge. Experience not required and

General advisory.

· General matters

Able to work in a team setting;

Able to write concisely using letters or e-mails;

Able to work in a moderately fast environment;

Have an interest in updates in accounting standards and

General administrative work
