Overview:

The Mechanical Engineer will support the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems related to commuter facilities — such as pumps, fans, lifts, or ventilation equipment — ensuring functionality, safety, and LTA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and maintain mechanical assets and components.
• Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and mechanical system reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with equipment standards and specifications.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical system maintenance or installation.
• Familiar with LTA requirements, SS531, and relevant local codes.
• Strong coordination skills and knowledge of M&E systems in public infrastructure.

Overview:

The Assistant Engineer will support the Engineer or Lead Engineer in supervising field operations, coordinating fault rectification works, and maintaining proper records in CWMS/CFEMS for street lighting and commuter facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing site works, inspections, and testing.
• Prepare basic reports, update CWMS/CFEMS entries, and assist in work coordination.
• Follow up with contractors and technicians on rectification timelines.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met on-site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITE Certification in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical).
• Min. 1 year of working experience preferred (Fresh graduates may be considered).

• Familiarity with fault-logging systems (CWMS, CFEMS) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

· Lead project team and facilitate their ability to complete the project on time

· Manage and oversee the day-to-day management of projects and on-site works

· Responsible for ensuring smooth implementation and monitoring of work progress.

· Supervise workers and sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out as per schedule and in good quality

· In charge of the planning, assessment and implementation of the whole project safety system and ISO system

· Communicate and coordinate with clients and consultants, clarify requirement, plan, monitor and control the project, including carrying out implementation of the project.

· Preparation of site progress report and necessary documentation and attend daily site meetings

· Identify and resolve site issues effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

· Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent

· Min 5 years relevant experience with at least 3 years project management experience at local projects

· Strong technical abilities and interpersonal skills
