Job Description: Marine Engineer

Position Overview

The Marine Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems onboard vessels to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain marine mechanical systems including main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and propulsion systems

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and overhauls according to planned maintenance schedules

• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimize vessel downtime

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, class requirements, and company procedures

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts usage

• Coordinate with ship crew, shipyard personnel, and shore-based teams during repairs or dry-docking

• Assist in budgeting, spare parts planning, and inventory control

• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and best engineering practices

• Support audits, inspections, and surveys as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Valid Certificate of Competency (as applicable)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marine mechanical engineering or ship operations

• Strong knowledge of marine engines, machinery, and onboard systems

• Familiarity with class and flag state requirements

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Job Type: Part-Time (Twice a Week, 3 Hours per Session)

Job Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of office premises (workstations, pantry, meeting rooms)
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and wiping of surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets and common areas
• Disposal of trash and maintaining cleanliness standards

Requirements:

• Prior cleaning experience preferred (office environment is a plus)

The Administration Intern will support day-to-day administrative coordination across the business. This role provides hands-on exposure to maritime operations and cross-functional workflows, while assisting with documentation, data management, and general coordination tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating operational documents, including Delivery Orders (DOs), using standard templates
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for various functions like HR and Operations
• Support filing, document organisation, and maintenance of structured records and trackers
• Assist in obtaining quotations from vendors and coordinating basic administrative follow-ups
• Support scheduling and coordination of office activities and internal tasks
• Assist with general HR and administrative support, including record keeping, information gathering, and documentation
• Provide general office and administrative support as required

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable working with data, documentation, and administrative tasks

The Customer Support & Account Executive plays a critical role in managing client relationships after sales closure, ensuring seamless execution of services, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role acts as the bridge between clients, operations, and internal teams - ensuring that bookings, service delivery, invoicing, and issue resolution are handled efficiently and professionally.

• Act as a key interface between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment of expectations
• Proactively engage with clients to identify service gaps, address concerns, and enhance overall customer experience
• Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure timely execution of client requirements and commitments
• Identify recurring operational or service inefficiencies impacting client experience and lead improvement initiatives

Duties & Responsibilities

• Boat navigation
• Maintain and upkeep the condition of the vessel under your charge
• Maintain government-issued certifications as required
• Lower and man lifeboats when emergencies occur
• Stand by wheels when ships are on automatic pilot and verify accuracy of courses using magnetic compasses
• Steer ships under the direction of commanders or navigation officers or direct helmsmen to steer, following designated courses
• Take instructions from Management (and Client) and to inform office of any problems arising during daily operations
• Any other responsibilities as instructed by the Management
• Able to do shift work

Requirement

• MPA Helmsman /Steersman (Port Limit) / MPA SR license or equivalent
• Pass an approved eyesight test
• Must have at least 1year launch boat experience
• Able to work long hours
