Job Summary

Supervise and lead cleaning operations at Pulau Bukom and/or Jurong Island sites, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards while managing teams and client communications to maintain high service quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily cleaning operations at assigned sites to maintain service quality and compliance
• Lead and coordinate a team of cleaning staff to achieve operational standards and efficiency
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene regulations
• Plan manpower deployment and oversee work schedules to optimize team productivity
• Liaise with clients on operational matters and feedback to enhance service delivery
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals for safety and effectiveness

Required competencies and certifications

• At least 2 years of practical experience supervising cleaning operations; or
• Must Possess WSQ certifications under Environmental Cleaning (EC):

> Supervise Service Operations (CLG-SS-301C-1)

> Demonstrate and Apply Understanding of Cleaning Methods and Processes (CLG-SS-304C-1)

• Ability to lead a team and work independently
• Effective communication and coordination skills to manage teams and client interactions
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and processes to ensure proper usage and maintenance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial, or facility cleaning environments
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail in operational tasks

· Responsible for preparation and submission of tenders including quantity take-offs and pricing

· Sourcing for suitable subcontractors and suppliers to support in tender

· Identify items that need technical support from the operation team and liaise with them on temporary work design, execution methodology and planning matters

· Identify discrepancies in BQs, drawings, specifications and put up queries to consultants or clients for clarification

· Analyse subcontractors/suppliers quotations for completeness and negotiate to sharpen tender price

· Prepare monthly report: earned value and projected final contract value (including status of re-measurements and variations)

· Track, record and submit detailed variations claims and close off with clients promptly

· Monitor project completion date(s) and assist project manager in time/cost claims

· Manage progress claims and payments of the prime contract and subcontracts

· Handles contract administration and settlement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors

· Review tender/project requirements and preparation of method statement, work execution plan, QA / QC / HSSE document, project schedule & programming of resources and execution plan for technical proposals of a project

· Collating all documentation (eg questionnaires, Company’s certificates, etc) for submission

· Collaborate with various internal units to develop winning bids
