Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the student care centre for P1–P6 students, ensuring smooth scheduling of arrival, homework, programmes, and dismissal
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and student supervision to protect student wellbeing and emotional safety
• Manage administrative processes including attendance tracking, billing coordination, and reporting to support operational efficiency
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of teachers and mentors to deliver programmes aligned with the centre’s guiding philosophy
• Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to develop staff capabilities and maintain a positive team culture
• Serve as the primary contact for parents, building trust and managing feedback, concerns, and sensitive situations with professionalism
• Provide regular updates to parents on student progress and centre activities to enhance parent experience
• Ensure consistent and high-quality execution of programmes across all mentors, collaborating with management to refine programme delivery
• Uphold strict safeguarding standards and ethical conduct, handling behavioural cases with maturity
• Support student enrolment efforts by conducting centre tours, converting leads, and assisting in hiring, onboarding, and training of mentors
• Take ownership of centre growth initiatives and align operations with brand positioning to drive continuous improvement

Preferred qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field
• Experience in premium or boutique education environments
• Familiarity with programme-based or inquiry-based learning approaches

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and patient Part-Time Mentor who is bilingual in English and Mandarin. The primary responsibility is to support students in their daily academic work, especially homework supervision and spelling practice, while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students to complete daily school homework
• Conduct English and Chinese spelling practice
• Build positive relationships with students by providing guidance and encouragement
• Maintain a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor student behavior and emotional well-being to address needs promptly
• Support centre programs and themed activities as required
• Assist with daily classroom routines and manage student safety and well-being at all times
• Support general centre operations to ensure smooth functioning

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written
• Experience working with children in student care, tuition, or enrichment settings
• Patience and nurturing attitude to engage and motivate children
• Basic skill of art&craft activities
