Job Descriptions:

• Leads project scheduling & planning process and supervise a group of planners in preparing and incorporating project execution plan into the overall project schedule using planning software for designated project involving schedule updating and analysis, progress monitoring, and preparation of various reports to ensure timely completion of the projects.
• Coordinates all efforts to collate and compile the necessary information to support timely schedule development and reporting for Project Controls Manager.
• Provides reports, “look aheads”, critical path reporting, “what-if” scenarios, and other relevant tools that will assist in planning and schedule analysis.
• Develops, maintain and update s-curves and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for various disciplines in software system or MS Excel format for progress monitoring and reporting purposes.
• Provides narrative description for relevant reports, including weekly & monthly report to client and consolidates inputs from various disciplines for project management team’s review.
• Reviews and evaluate submitted schedule of all contractors including their progress tracking/measurement system.
• Tracks and monitor the progress of the project including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and installation. Implements and monitors the schedules of each project stage/milestone and the entire project until completion and close-out.
• Identifies and leverage on opportunities to optimize maximum resource utilization for efficient execution/organization of the project activities.
• Ensures timing of deliverables of contractor are adequately, clearly defined and diligently tracked to prevent or minimize delay.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Masters Degree, Marine Degree / Diploma Graduates in Oil & Gas related.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years or above of planning experience in Oil & Gas especially FPSOshipbuilding or shipyard and onshore/offshore experiences.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management, Risk Management and Change Management Processes.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in planning management software i.e. Primavera, etc.
• Good understanding of oil & gas offshore facility construction project schedules and requirements.
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a detailed plan for enhancing product quality, in alignment with the company’s strategic goals and vision.
• Guide and lead in different teams to identify and analyze root causes of quality issues.
• Design and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent future quality challenges.
• Supervise and document product quality metrics to monitor developments and pinpoint areas needing enhancement.
• Carry out inspections and evaluations to detect and rectify potential quality threats.
• Cooperate with vendors to ensure their products comply with our quality standards.
• Work alongside various divisions, including engineering, manufacturing, classification societies, and suppliers, to maintain uniform quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Keep updated of the latest quality enhancement methodologies and tools.
• Monitor and analyze warranty data for reporting, implement changes to new products, and drive continuous enhancement.
• Recognize and communicate process and product enhancements.
• Persistently seek to identify and mitigate areas of quality risk before they affect the vessel.
• Provide regular communications and reports to key internal stakeholders.
• Uphold high quality standards and cost control within financial constraints.
• Facilitate customer familiarization with our products.
• Occasionally travel to the vessels’ operational regions to conduct fact-finding on their operations and the acceptance of our products.
• Communicate proficiently by actively listening, clearly conveying information, and offering constructive feedback at all staff levels while fostering trust through authentic, respectful, and dependable interactions.
• Liaise with shipyard personnel and management to uphold product quality, and cultivate key relationships with partners, clients, contractors, suppliers, and official entities.
• Negotiate on the company’s behalf, accepting practical compromises when needed, while building a robust network of industry suppliers and subcontractors.
• Oversee quality improvement documentation, comprehend vessel specifications and classification regulations, manage warranty claims, and pursue continuous personal and professional growth, demonstrating accountability for objectives.

Qualifications:

Education & Professional Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Metallurgy) from a recognized institution and other qualifications in O&G sectors
- CSWIP 3.1 or AWS or ASNT would be of added value (candidate to at least demonstrate understanding of the above certifications)
- Lead Auditor on Management Systems (ISO9001,ISO14001&ISO45001)
- Experience in application of RCA methods, investigation techniques
- Proven ability and experience in developing and implementing management systems (ISO9001,ISO14001 & ISO 45001) in organizations.
- Exposure to Enterprises Risk Management (ERM) processes
- Knowledge and experience on ASME U & R certifications (BPVC)
- Proven ability in document development ( policies, SIPOC, PFM, procedures, checklists, templates)
- Training module development and presentations
- Lessons Learned facilitator experience

Professional Experience:

- Minimum 10 years’ combined QA-QC experience covering marine, oil and gas EPC projects (onshore /offshore), heavy fabrication, process plants, etc.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA-QC Manager role

- Proved auditing experience & capability in preparing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures/plans/instructions

- Strong management practices and techniques

- Very good analytical and interpersonal skills

- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental practices related to industry

- Good knowledge of marine, oil & gas industry standards/ codes/ regulations

Computer Skills:

- Good knowledge of MS Office and web applications

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and check Chennai Office payroll
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation.
• Orientate new staff of all levels and maintain/update personal files; assist in all onboarding related matters.
• Maintain complete, correct, up to-date, and accessible records for all employees in the P-file and HRMS.
• Manage HR-related documentation (eg data entry, leave management, filing, and coordination of recruitment, training, and dormitory logistics.
• Responsible for maintaining HR/ Admin documentation including data entry, filing etc.
• Handle overtimes record.
• Assist in maintaining & updating of employees leave application records in the system.
• Assist in work pass application, issuance, renewal, cancellation, and other changes update.
• Manage the Recruitment process and coordinate interview arrangements.
• Administration of work passes related matters & managing of foreign workers matters.
• Update and maintain training record
• In-charge for submission of worker’s Hospitalization claims to insurer.
• Manage VISA applications.
• Assist to book hotel & flight tickets.
• Other admin duties or ad hoc as assigned.
