We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Junior Executive, Retail to support the daily operations of our retail store. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth store operations, delivering excellent customer experiences, and supporting sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Retail Manager in the day-to-day running of the store

• Lead and supervise casuals to ensure smooth retail operations and excellent customer service

• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions, credit card and digital payments, while ensuring accurate daily reconciliation.

• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and liaise with suppliers

• Prepare weekly sales and inventory reports to support business decisions

• Follow up on customer feedback and ensure service recovery where needed

• Maintain accurate updates in POS and inventory systems

• Support visual merchandising and retail campaigns to enhance store presentation and sales

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field

• At least 1 years of retail operations experience

• Familiar with POS systems, cashiering, and inventory management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills

• A team player who is organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Reporting to the VP, Marcom / AM, Marcom, the key role of the Customer Service Officer is to:

• Handle systems relating to shopper management and assist in mall inspection
• Assist CMO in tenant relation matters (E.g. Facilitate tenant’s request and issuance of mall communication materials)
• Provide assistance and general information to shoppers at the Concierge Desk
• Handle the administrative and clerical work relating to the events and promotions at the mall
• Handle mall redemption programs such as vouchers, premiums, and parking
• Assist in customer reward programs including educating tenants on the voucher program
• Assist in collating tenants’ gift voucher reimbursement.
• Assist in events at the mall, especially weekends, whenever necessary. This includes facilitating logistics setup, photographing, etc.
• Handling and administering Lost & Found items
• Answering incoming phone lines and email enquires
• Assist with assigned administrative duties from Marcom Manager
• Assist Marcom Manager/ Snr Marcom Executive to manage Customer Service Assistance and ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the Concierge Desk. This includes efficient allocation of tasks among officers, conflict resolution, etc.
• Prepare monthly duty roster and ensure efficient allocation of manpower.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor from time to time.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Marketing or a related field
• At least 1 year of proven marketing communications experience in the retail / mall industry.
• Creative, dynamic, and resourceful with good media and relevant promotional partners’ contacts
• A team player and self-starter with good interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics
• Data driven and results-oriented, comfortable with numbers and able to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in fast pace environment, under pressure and deadlines.
• Fast and independent with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
