Job Description:

• Manage tendering activities including preparation, submission, follow-up, documentation, clarifications, and tender analysis.
• Prepare project costing, budgets, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and define project scope.
• Administer contracts and project commercial matters, including variation orders (VOs), progress claims, billing coordination, and ERP updates.
• Monitor project financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, claims management, and maintenance of unit price databases.
• Provide team support and stakeholder coordination by guiding junior QS staff, attending contract review meetings, and participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description:

• Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance, support, and technical assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Manage IT vendors and procurement, including negotiating contracts, evaluating solutions, and ensuring cost-effective purchases.

• Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including system upgrades, maintenance, migrations, performance monitoring, and outage planning.

• Drive technology improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.

• Ensure IT security, compliance, and governance through policy enforcement, security monitoring, audits, and best-practice implementation.

• Manage IT assets, budgets, and licensing, including budget planning, expense verification, software renewals, and resource allocation.

• Support organizational development and administration by coordinating IT training programs, preparing audit documentation, attending professional training, and assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in supervision at the workshop & project site.
• Liaise with client's representatives with regards to all site matters with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with workshop and subcontractors with the delivery of products and installation works.
• Attend site meeting if required.
• Ensure that staff and subcontractors carry out their work in a safe manner.
• Responsible for monitoring the daily process and progress at the project site.
• Carry out inspection of purchased materials delivered to the project site.
• Conduct project site inspection on a regular basis.
• Supervise the general workers with regards to the installations and constructions.
• Identify and records quality control problems during production or site work.
• Responsible for determining the cause of the quality problem and initiate corrective action.
• Carry out defect liability servicing of completed projects and maintain records of such servicing.
• Responsible for providing information for shipping documents and compounding packing list.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Superior.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that material is purchased at right price, right source, accurate lead time to meet client standards and requirements.

• Responsible for enquires about material properties, grades and potential substitution (to reduce cost).

• Lead end-to-end procurement process for all kinds of purchases (high-value, complex, etc.).

• Oversee request for proposal (RFP), request for quotation (RFQ), request for information (RFI) and PO approval.

• Oversee inventory management.

• Oversee supplier relationship management by:

  • building and maintaining strong and long term relationships with key suppliers

  • addressing and resolve any supplier related issues asap (delays, defects, disputes, etc.)

• Conduct department meeting to discuss about issues, improvements, progress.

• Develop and raise improvement plans for the department during department head meeting.

• Oversee and review supplier database (supplier management) by:

  • reviewing and qualifying new suppliers (ensure that they meet company's quality and ethical standards)

  • reviewing regular supplier performance evaluation based on KPIs (quality, timeliness, responsiveness, pricing, etc.)

  • negotiating with current suppliers for most favourable price and terms and ensure they uphold the agreed-upon terms and condition

Requirements

• Interior Design/Carpentry knowledge & experience in construction/furniture industry will be an added advantage.
• ITE NTC cert or 'O' level and above.
• Willing and able to travel overseas for project supervision.

Responsibilities

1. Implement and provide directions in project planning, coordinate works, liaise with clients and consultants, ensures overall progresses based on schedules.
2. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
3. Coordinate with the drafting department with regards to the preparation/ submission/ approval of shop and as-built drawings.
4. Liaise with client's representatives with regards to all site matters, attend site meeting if required.
5. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
6. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
7. Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project/program effectiveness.
8. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Requirements

1. Project Management experience required.
2. Willing and able to travel overseas frequently for project supervision.
