Your Day to Day

Pastry Preparation & Production

• Assist in preparing and baking basic pastry items including cakes, tarts, breads, simple desserts, and buffet items according to hotel recipes and instructions.

• Support daily pastry production for buffet service, à la carte outlets, meetings & events, room service, and special events.

Your day to day

A Pastry Chef De Partie assists in overseeing and directing all aspects of the operation of the pastry kitchen, and in providing functional assistance; coordinating activities and functions with other heads in the food and beverage department.

Kitchen Operation

• Ensure consistent and smooth running of food production
• Ensure effective stock purchase, its receipt and storage

In collaboration with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager, supervises all aspects of one or more full-service food and beverage outlet(s) on a daily basis and coordinate special events.
