As an Engineer, IT Infrastructure you will provide technical support, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. You will work on system configurations, troubleshooting, and operational tasks to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure systems. This role focuses on applying technical skills to support enterprise platforms and maintain high availability of critical IT services.

Essential Job Functions

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting infrastructure systems.

• Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

• Assist with infrastructure integration and ensure proper data flow across applications.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• 4-9 years of IT experience in system administration, infrastructure engineering, or technical support roles.

• Technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure platforms including networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements

Responsibilities

• Recovered failed batch jobs and triaged ETL issues to ensure uninterrupted data processing and reporting timelines.

• Supported ETL workflows where custody applications exchange data with internal systems via IBM MQ, storing processed data in Oracle DB.

• Developed and maintained Linux shell scripts for secure file transfers using SCP and IBM Connect:Direct, scheduled through IBM TWS.

• Automated routine operational checks using Python-based health check scripts, significantly reducing manual effort and turnaround time.

• Collaborated with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve defects and deploy fixes via CI/CD pipelines during approved change windows.
