Responsibilities
The quantity surveyor’s duties shall include the following:
· Attend to clients' briefing and establish the scope of work at hand
· Preparation of feasibility studies
· Preparation of cost plans, cost estimates and cash flow projections
· Advise clients on procurement strategy
· Preparation of tender documents
· Evaluation of tenders received and make recommendations for award of Contract
· Preparation of Letter of Acceptance and Contract Documents
· Evaluation of progressive claims
· Financial reporting including evaluation of variation work during the progress of work
· Advise clients on contractual issues
· Preparation of Final Account
Requirements
The quantity surveyor should preferably possess the following attributes:
· Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
· Preferably with relevant working experiece
