Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts including general ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and statements for clients
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities
• Review and monitor day-to-day accounting operations and transactions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory regulations (e.g., GST/BAS, tax filings, payroll)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities if required
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.

Experience

• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on experience with full set of accounts.
• Prior experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members is advantageous

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks for our clients, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations for clients including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
• Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and statutory reporting (e.g., GST, Income tax)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) are a plus.

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Prior experience in using accounting software such as Xero is preferred.
