HomeSmart.sg is growing, and we're looking for someone who's equal parts salesperson and tech enthusiast to join our team.
As Singapore's leading Aqara distributor and smart home specialist, we help homeowners upgrade their living spaces with smart switches, lights, locks, curtains, and whole-home automation. Our showroom at Keong Saik Road is where customers come to see it all in action, and you'll be the one showing them what's possible.
The Role
You'll be our go-to person on the showroom floor - advising customers, demonstrating products, and closing sales. But this isn't a typical retail job. You'll need to understand how smart home ecosystems work, be comfortable setting up apps and configuring devices, and be able to walk a customer through their first Aqara setup with confidence.
Beyond the showroom, you'll own the full customer journey, from follow-up on leads and project coordination, to on-site visits for product setup and customer success. This could mean heading to a customer's place to help set up their smart home, or just checking in after a sale to make sure everything works.
What You'll Do
- Engage walk-in customers and inbound leads at our showroom, demonstrating our smart home range and guiding them through the sales process
- Provide hands-on technical sales support - including app demos, device pairing, and system configuration advice
- Manage each customer's project end-to-end: quotations, factory coordination, delivery scheduling, and installation follow-up
- Build relationships with interior designers and project partners
- Stay current on smart home products, features, and ecosystem updates
What We're Looking For
- Minimum NITEC qualification with at least 2 years' sales experience (retail, showroom, or technical sales preferred)
- A genuine interest in tech, gadgets, and smart devices
- Comfortable with technology at a hands-on level: setting up apps, troubleshooting basic connectivity, explaining tech concepts to non-technical customers
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with customers
- Experience or interest in interiors, home living, or home automation is a big plus
Working Arrangements
- 5-day work week on a roster basis. Weekends (Saturday + Sunday) are your main sales days — off days fall on weekdays
- Based at our comfortable, highly accessible showroom at Keong Saik Road.
