Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Governance

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of AWS cloud setup initiatives across UAT and Production environments.
• Define and manage project scope, milestones, dependencies, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Establish and maintain project governance, RAID logs, change control, and delivery reporting.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise cloud, security, and compliance standards.

2. AWS Infrastructure & Networking Oversight

• Lead projects involving:
• AWS multi‑account strategy (Internet & Intranet segregation)
• VPC design, subnets, route tables, and security groups
• Ingress and Egress architectures (Internet / Intranet)
• AWS Network Firewall and native firewall configurations
• Cross‑zone connectivity
• Validate architectural designs and ensure solutions align with AWS best practices and security principles.

3. Security, Firewall & Traffic Management

• Coordinate implementation of:
• AWS Network Firewall
• AWS WAF for API and internet-facing workloads
• Secure north‑south and east‑west traffic flows
• Work closely with security, risk, and compliance teams to manage approvals and risk acceptance.
• Ensure testing, verification, and sign‑off for ingress/egress and firewall rules.

4. API, Load Balancing & Managed Services Delivery

• Manage delivery of:
• Central API architecture (Internet & Intranet) with WAF
• Network Load Balancer (NLB) configuration and validation
• AWS Transfer Family implementations across UAT and PROD
• Ensure proper integration between infrastructure, applications, and connectivity services.

5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the single point of accountability for internal teams and external vendors.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, executive‑level updates for senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate technical workshops, design walkthroughs, and readiness reviews.

6. Testing, Documentation & Operational Readiness

• Oversee:
• Ingress and egress testing across UAT and PROD
• Creation and review of design documents and runbooks
• Ensure solutions are operationally ready, supportable, and handed over to operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, with 5+ years managing cloud infrastructure projects.
• Proven delivery experience in AWS environments, especially network‑ and security‑heavy projects.

This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery outcomes including scope, schedule, cost, and service readiness. • Drive structured change management processes including impact assessment, effort estimation, and formal approvals.
• Ensure all scope changes are controlled, tracked, and aligned with contractual agreements.

Testing & Deployment

• Oversee and govern testing activities including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring alignment to project timelines and quality expectations.
• Work closely with Test Lead / QA teams to ensure test planning, execution, and defect management are properly managed.
• Drive deployment planning and execution readiness across all stakeholders.
• Ensure structured transition to Day 2 operations including documentation, knowledge transfer, SLA alignment, and service readiness validation.

Experience

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery and management of digital workplace services, ensuring SLAs, XLAs, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including Service Desk, Deskside Support, IT Service Management, IT Innovation & Governance to drive high standards in service delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Delivery Management - Manage the delivery of digital workplace services across client’s end user environments, ensuring alignment with SLAs, XLAs and customer expectations. Oversee the daily operations of environments, including asset management, incident management, change control, and problem resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Proactively identify issues and work with the respective teams to resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with IT Innovation and Governance team to drive adoption towards AI-assisted service delivery model for cost efficiency.
• Stakeholder and Client Engagement- Conduct regular service reviews with clients, providing insights on operational health, upcoming changes, and performance metrics. Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as an advisor and advocating for client needs internally. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service adjustments meet evolving client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 7 years in service delivery management in digital workplace services.
• ITIL v4 Foundation

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow, digital employee experience tools such as Tanium DEX, 1E Taychon, Nexthink, endpoint management MS InTune,
• Including monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or equivalent. Familiarity with DevOps practices, incident management, and ITIL processes.
• Experience in cost management, budget tracking.
• Knowledge of agentic AI, digital employee experience automation tools and frameworks to enhance service efficiency.
