Job Summary
This role is responsible for driving new sales opportunities by understanding customer business needs and delivering appropriate solutions. The position involves generating and converting leads through both inbound and outbound activities, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities through outbound outreach (e.g. cold calling, email) and inbound lead management
- Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and present relevant solutions and use cases
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements, addressing legal, financial, and technical considerations
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, with accurate forecasting and regular reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimise customer outcomes
- Maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction throughout the sales cycle
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
This role supports clients across North Asia and parts of Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China, and the Philippines. As the role involves regular direct engagement with customers in these markets, including sales discussions and relationship management conducted in local languages, proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is required. Proficiency in Tagalog would be advantageous.
