Job Summary
The Costing Engineer / QS Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BQ), and man-hour calculations, while consulting suppliers to ensure material specifications and suitability for projects. The role works closely with Project Managers, Design, and Procurement teams to provide detailed cost analysis, support pricing strategies, and track project expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation & Analysis

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project scope.
• Calculate man-hour requirements for various project activities and trades.
• Analyze historical cost data to improve estimation accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Material Consultation & Procurement Support

• Consult suppliers to confirm material specifications, quality, and suitability for project requirements.
• Recommend materials and alternatives based on cost, availability, and performance.
• Support procurement with accurate cost breakdowns and supplier technical input.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in preparing project budgets and monitor actual costs against planned budgets.
• Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions to management.

Pricing & Commercial Support

• Develop and maintain pricing models for projects, products, and services.
• Provide cost input for bids, proposals, and client quotations.
• Support negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors based on cost analysis.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain organized records of cost estimates, BQs, man-hour calculations, supplier consultations, and approvals.
• Prepare regular cost reports, dashboards, and summaries for management.
• Support management in financial decision-making with accurate cost insights.

Collaboration & Compliance

• Work closely with Project Managers, Design, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in costing, estimating, or quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost estimation tools, Excel, and project software.
• Knowledge of Bill of Quantities preparation, man-hour estimation, and material specification evaluation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of problem-solving.

Role Summary 

The HR & Admin Executive is responsible for managing a wide range of human resources and administrative functions. The role covers recruitment, payroll support, staff records, employee and corporate insurance renewals, and compliance with employment regulations, while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Human Resources 

• Assist in the full recruitment cycle: job posting, screening, arranging interviews, and onboarding. 

• Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and personal files. 

• Handle leave administration, attendance, and staff movement tracking. 

• Assist in payroll preparation and submission of government claims, and statutory contributions. 

• Manage employee-related insurance (e.g., medical, GPA, work injury), including renewals, enrollments, and claims. 

• Support performance appraisal exercises and training coordination. 

• Handle staff queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. 

• Organize staff engagement activities and welfare programs. 

Administration 

• Manage office supplies, service contracts, and vendor coordination. 

• Maintain company documents, licenses, and filing systems (physical & digital). 

• Oversee company-wide insurance renewals (e.g., office/property, liability, vehicle, equipment). 

• Liaise with insurers/brokers on coverage, policy updates, and claims management.

• Provide cost control recommendations to Projects Manager

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years experience in QS, costing, or estimation
• Strong knowledge of materials, pricing, and project costing

Role Overview

The Projects Executive supports the Projects Manager in coordinating project execution from sales handover through to completion. This role ensures smooth communication, timeline adherence, and budget tracking across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Projects Manager in overall project planning and execution
• Act as the key coordinator between Sales, Design, Procurement, QS, and Operations
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and daily follow-ups
• Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Monitor project budgets together with Quantity Surveyor
• Prepare project schedules, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate site activities, logistics, and vendor schedules
• Ensure all approvals, drawings, and materials are ready before execution
• Escalate risks or delays to Projects Manager early
• Maintain proper documentation for all project stages

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field
• 1–3 years experience in project coordination (fit-out, construction, events, or similar)
